I've been a member of this forum since late December 2007, and that's right around the time that I started losing my weight. I turned seventeen on December 27, 2007, and that was the day that I really decided to do something about my weight. I had always been overweight, but it wasn't really like being fat. Just a cute little pudge, I guess you'd say. Well, when I turned sixteen, I started becoming less active, and taking after my new boyfriend's horrible eating habits. I gained about 50 pounds in less than a year, and I felt awful. After a while, I broke up with this guy, and as soon as I did, I went on a strict doctor-prescribed diet. I walked for about an hour every night, and ate practically nothing. In only two months, I had lost thirty pounds, and while I had originally intended to lose more, I found myself pretty happy at 180. I still have certain issues with not being a size 4, but being a 14 isn't all that bad.
I'm 5'6, by the way.
Here are a few pictures:
Before:
Funny shirt, I know. I was about 210 here.
With a friend. A size 20, and I was not too happy about my multiple chins.
Last before picture. Right before I started losing.
After:
Feeling great. Size 14, 180 lb.
Taken like five minutes ago. 180 pounds.
Side view. Still not too fond of my arms.
And last, but not least. A face shot, taken yesterday.
Thanks to everyone in this forum. Your photos really helped keep me inspired.
