Here's when I was around 257 to 260 at the beginning of January, 08:

and here's me now at 208, beginning of June 08:

Also, some prom-esque photos while I'm all dressed up (taken by my friend, a photography student):

With a total loss of around 50 lbs. So yeah, I'll probably update next with my afters, don't want to bore you with just another month's progress. =)

Cheers all :-D

Btw in the after pics that isn't dirt on my face, it's shadows and a lot of bad lighting =-( and all my pics are taken in the morning before I head off to work so excuse the bedhead and lack of smiles.

Cheers again :coolgleamA:

Progress pics are NEVER boring! NICE JOB! I can really see a huge difference! Keep up the good work!

Simply fantastic. Keep up the good work dude!

Hehe, cheers. :D

awesome transformation thus far, how was your regime?

Quite simple, track calories, cut to right amount as well as exercising more, finding ways to start ENJOYING exercising more e.t.c. After a while, my metabolism seemed to want to kick in so now I can do very little and still lose weight. However, I still exercise at least 30 minutes a day, walk wherever I can, and generally try and make small changes to improve my life.

TERRIFIC! What a great job you've done! :hurray:

Keep up the awesome work!

Cheers :-D I sometimes forget how far I've come, and comments like these make me quite proud of myself. :blush5: so thanks!!

Oh, and for shits and giggles here's me in my prom suit jacket, taken today:

You've done a hell of a job, man. What're you down to now, 208? You look smaller than that in the suit.

I've gone from over 305 to 236 and I'm getting excited to get below 220. I'm the same height as you, so according to BMI, I"ll no longer be "obese" and just be "overweight". That'll be a happy day, then its onward to my goal of 185 and beyond. Depending on what my physique is like at 185 of course.

Anyway, my point is that you look great at 208. Good work.

Wow. Amazing. You are quite the little hottie!

That is too amiable and kind of you, thanks very much. :blush5:

According to my scale, 204 lbs as of today. :p

You've also accomplished and extraordinary feat, congratulations! It is quite interesting to know that people are thinking the exact same things as I did at certain weights/BMI numbers. Other things which I noticed and that I suspect you will have noticed is that people's image of you and your own self-image have changed drastically and that you are no longer "fat," but "chubby" e.t.c. It's quite exciting, isn't it! :-D

Thanks very much for the contributive post and extra encouragement. :-D

You look great man! Keep it up :)

Cheers, Not long now so I'll hopefully be next updating with my "afters." :-D

You look fantastic! I also have a question. I know guys probably don't worry quite as much about this, but did your stretch marks naturally fade out as you lost weight or did you use any lotions or something? I have lots of red stretch marks on my belly similar to your before pic, and I'm afraid that even if I lose all the weight I want I'll still never be able to wear a bikini because of them. Keep up the great work, you've done an amazing job!

First of all, great job dude!

Second of all! Wear that bikini stretch marks or not girl! Are you going to let the insane beauty standards drive you crazy? You can wear a bikini no matter what! Come on! Life is short!

They faded naturally, though I'm told that Cocoa Butter helps the process. Nevertheless, it's good to know that skin naturally renews itself, and that even if they don't fade soon, they will certainly vanish in, at most, a few years time.

However, I definitely agree with Redtruth, Stretch marks don't really look that bad on girls at all (and I'm sure they'll have faded to a certain extent by the time you're wearing that bikini!)

Thanks for the kind words, both, and good luck with your journey as well!
