I agree with Jynus. This is completely and 100% wrong advice. Please do not follow this.i would never stop doing cardio nor would i stop with situps you need to tone your stomach.
weight work will only effect things like pecs and biceps it wont address the main issue your stomach so my advise to you is keep eating well add more cardio and keep up the good work
Weight work - if properly done - is for your whole body. Read the stickies. I promise there's awesome information there to get you started on doing PROPER weight and body resistance work.
