Before 136kg (300lbs) and now 92.5kg (203lbs)

Hey my name is Manda, I'm new to this forum so I wanted to post my progress here to keep myself motivated! I have about 30kg (66lbs) to go :)

- February 2007, about 300lbs.



- March 07.



- This is me now! at 92.5kg (203lbs) still have some work to do, but im happy so far!! :D




I love seeing everyones weight loss and reading their stories, glad i found this forum :) xoxo

wow you look awesome......but you dont look like you weigh 203 pounds.... i would guess a lot less!!!! You are truly an inspiration.
 
thanks! I dont look 203lbs because i'm actually 8 FEET TALL. hehe just kidding. my goal weight is between 135 - 140lbs. xo
 
I'll agree with ummhusayn aka Rena... you hold your weight very well. You look fantastic. :) Keep up the awesome work, doll.

Amazing!

Your before and after pics are incredible! I recently lost 107 lbs and am having trouble with "loose" skin.. especially on my stomach area. I was wondering if you had the same problem and knew of any tricks to help it.
 
thanks! i know what you mean re. the 'loose skin' problem.. i have that too and havn't actually stopped losing weight yet so it's still kind of... there :p i know there are some toning excercises that are supposed to help
 
ehy i was at your weight now (around 200lbs) and im down to nearly 69kgs!! keep going its not out of reach and you look amazing :)

your photos are so great! I wish I would have already had so much success in losing some weight. So what did you do to reach your perfect weight? Probably many sports right? And what do you do for not gaining all the kilos back? After having finshed a diet this is the most difficult task I think!

Thanks Jane :D my husband and I have been working through the Atkins plan, we have both made fantastic progress. He started at around the same weight as me (scary - 300lbs!) He is at about 230lbs and i'm down to 203. Neither of us actually do much excercise.. lol. The weight still seems to come off me pretty consistently. The more weight i lose the more i have to excercise though.. We plan to stay on the Atkins Maintenance lifestyle phase forever basically so staying away from lots of sugar and carbohydrates. I hope it keeps working! :)
 
Looking GREAT! Keep it up...and start exercising ;) It feels so good to go out for a walk, you know. Especially this beautiful time of year! And it will also help with maintenance. Congratulations to you AND your beloved for conquering the things that have "weighed" you both down!

thank you, people keep telling me that i don't look my weight.. i wish i actually weighed whatever it is people think i weigh.. haha

i am about 5ft6 1/2. I guess because i am a little taller than the average girl i carry my weight well.
i don't want to get too skinny, just want to be healthy :) i love curves!
