Becoming yummy!

Go Brown Team and Go Isabel!!

You can do it and hooray for me doing an hour workout! That's a first!!

Well done on staying in your cals!

GO BROWN TEAM!!

I did 90 min of exercise yesterday and lost .5kg/1.1lbs overnight! Hooray for us!!

Yesterday wasn't great. Baby was crying all day and then hubby had a crisis at work and couldn't come home to mind the baby so I didn't get to the gym. Did some mindless eating in the evening. Stayed within my cal limit, but could have been better nutritionally. I deliberately keep my cal range from 1200 - 1800 to prevent me bingeing and then giving up because I went over my limit as I've done so many times in the past. I also think having some high cal days is good for my metabolism. Having said that, I think the higher cal days really just help me maintain, rather than lose...

Hopefully I'll get to go to the gym today instead.

20to10 - nice job! :)

Hi! Sounds like you've been doing well. Where do you get Fitness TV? Is it on Cable? I'll have to look it up. Sorry your day wasn't great yesterday:(

WillLose

Hi WillLose60 - yes its on cable. I find the workouts a bit too easy and there are lots of ad breaks, but I like that you can just tune in and start working out...

Yesterday was much better - had a low cal day and did a Cindy Crawford DVD in the evening :)

Cal updates:
WK 4:
1455
1745
1200

Now starting week 5 :)

Well done Isabel!!
You're still motivated and working hard. Looking forward to hearing the results if your monthly weigh in!!

Keep up the hard work. It's not easy trying to do all this with a small baby. I have two kids myself, almost 5 and 9 and it does get easier! Like you I have to wait to go to my workouts until husb gets home! I looked at fitness tv too. I'm home sick with the flu but must get back on exercise routine!!

It's funny - the other day I just wanted to eat, but today I've struggled to get my cals high enough (I am trying not to go below 1200). It's been a good exercise day - two 30min walks (into town and back) with the buggy, and am about to do a DVD workout as hubby is out for the evening and baby is asleep (fingers crossed.)

20to10 - glad to hear it gets easier, although I am trying to make changes that I will stick to permanently, so perhaps this isn't a bad place to start out. If I can get make an effort with my diet and exercise while I have a tiny baby to look after, I'll have no excuse once he gets older and I have a little more time. Actually, I'm really hoping we'll be able to do some sporty activities together as he grows up :)

You'll be chasing him around from 1-3 yrs old, don't worry!!

I won't let the brown team down!! We have to do better than second last!!

Tomorrow is the big one month weigh-in! Don't know whether to be nervous or exited. Actually, I know I will be pleased with the result - I have definitely lost weight, it's just a question of how much. Am finding my plan easy to stick to at the moment and feeling very positive :)

20to10 - too right! The competition is tougher than I expected it to be! I'm really impressed with how well everyone has done so far :)

Come on, Isabel. That monthly weigh in will be so rewarding! I am excited to hear what the outcome is! Waaay to go!

I'm on track for at least some loss on Tuesday! I can't wait to see how this week's weigh in goes for all the teams!

Today was my first monthly weigh-in and I've lost TEN POUNDS in one month! Wahoo!!!! Only 3lbs of pregnancy weight left to lose, the rest is weight that I wanted to lose before I got pregnant. Very happy with 10lbs - that's the most I've ever lost in a month, and I did it in a very realistic, manageable way. I know my weightloss will slow down for furture months, but this a great start :)

I managed to do a Cindy Crawford DVD last night, and hopefully will make it to the gym tonight if hubby gets out of work in time. The Cindy DVDs are interval training with weights etc. They don't make me break a sweat, but they are really good for toning and building muscle. I can remember the first time I ever did one -must have been at least 10 years ago - I thought they were really hard, and I ached all over whereas now I could do them in my sleep...

If you can do them in your sleep it might just be time to grab something that is a little more of a challenge :)
