Beckster's "homestretch run" diary

Thanks to all for their good wishes!! I need to crank up the exercise now. Need to lose 5-7 more pounds. Have maintained for almost 2 months now. Time to get going.
 
MORNIN Beckster! You only need 5 to 7 pounds to go? Congrats... Haven't followed since the beginning so...I'm not sure where you started at so.... congrats either way! It's the new year.... lets rock it out! Have a great Day!
 
Thanks!! I never thought I'd lose the 50lbs in the first place...and initially couldn't handle having to lose more. However, reality being what it is, I need to lost a little more, so here I go.
 
Becks...you're doing awesome! I told Pequin to do this and I recommend it for everyone! I say go get some dumbles the equivalent to your current weight loss and find something to hold them in... and just try going for a walk and see just how big of a difference it is! You'll be amazed!
 
Saint and Be Gone Soon thanks for stopping by. Saint you are sooo right about the dumb bells. I saw an episode of Biggest Loser where they made the contestants put on weights equaling what they had lost and run a race.
Huge eye opener for realizing progress. I can't believe how heavy my two eight pound weights are, and that's only part of what I've lost.

Hey Beckster... I looked at my ticker and realized that I'm almost at the halfway point of my first goal (possibly my only goal...depending on how I look/feel at 185) I'm gonna put a bunch of stuff in my backpack that I have that weighs 35 lbs and try to do my biggest loser exercise dvd... and see how hard it is for me! You're doing GREAT beckster!...keep it up!
 
Been walking just about everyday. Tomorrow start the crunches I have avoided for over a year. I've done weights, but noooooo abdominal stuff.
 
Oh, beckster - I'm right there with ya - I'm just NOT motivated to do ab work! I *should* though...yikes!
