Beckster's "homestretch run" diary

5:40AM Eastern Standard Time. Location Beckster's house. She awakens, realizes it's time. After several minutes she moves toward the scale. She thinks," I don't think I've lost, but I know I didn't gain. I've done well with the eating....." She steps on the scale....IT'S REGISTERING A THREE POUND WEIGHT LOSS!!!! I DID IT!!!! I'VE LOST 50+1 MORE FOR GOOD MEASURE!!!
I'M IN THE END ZONE!! THANK YOU LORD!!! There are so many emotions running through my head right now. I want everyone in this forum to know you are all so AWESOME!! I joined near the end of this race, but I needed to at that point. You can only go so far alone. I'm with OHD, I'm not leaving. As I cruise maintenance road, I still want to stay in contact with all of you. I need to think about what I'm going to do now. Do I lose a couple more???

Yes, I do!!! I will stay on the straight and narrow!!! I've been wanting to post pics of myself, and will do that soon. A fellow employee of the hospital where I work told me yesterday that she had seen me earlier in the week and didn't recognize me at first!! I love it!!
 
Thanks!!! I get back on the scale tomorrow. Got to admit, I was more in maintenance mode vs. weightloss mode for a few days. Took a break. Walked lots and lots last few days. Using heavier hand weights now.
