because i'm worth it!! (aren't we all??!)

from paul mckenna...

eat whenever you are hungry

eat only what you want, never what you think you 'should'

eat consciously and enjoy every mouthful

stop when you even think you are full

happyandhealthy...

i'm sure some alcoholics/hard drug users may disagree LOL but i think its harder to 'come off' food addiction...after all we have to eat to survive...
& what with blummin food adverts!! temptation all around!!

i mean recovering alcoholics are never told fresh out of rehab to 'just' stick to 3 meals a day are they???!! hmmmmm :angelsad2:

edit...
i meant to say 3 drinks a day...not 3 meals!!!

hi cinderelly!!

yes i'm either very very good...or very very naughty :newangel:

dating men i shouldn't have dated...but like i mentioned in your diary my life pretty much revolves around my son at the moment...so been a very very good girl in a certain area of my life for way too long...seriously i could be a nun!! & they do say you're revirginised after 12months...yikes!!!!

buying (more...) shoes i shouldn't have bought!!/eating too much cake!!

just a girl who can't say no apparently LOL

ahhhhh now the saying yes to 3 marriage proposals to men i wasn't all that compatible with (isn't hindsight a bitch!!) starts to make sense...

i must remember to just say no...

cognitive therapy...

you feel the way you think!!

your emotions follow your thoughts...

negative thoughts....lead to negative feelings...which can lead to depression or anxiety...(which can lead to comfort eating!!)

work to turn thoughts around 'as they come in'...literally catch yourself before negative thoughts drag you down or drain your positivity...

you can just choose to be happy!! think it/feel it!!

(above a much needed pep talk for myself hope it doesn't sound too much like gobbledygook!!)

life not a spectator sport!!

walk mindfully with every step instead of letting life rush past you...deeply enjoy the moment.

Those are all great words, we just need to beleive them more often and believe in them:):):)

Im glad you joined the challenge I was actually gonna invite you to join...

You beat me to the punch...

Hey Baglady. I love the inspirational quotes. Here's one that usually keeps me motivated from ole Ben Franklin.

"You may delay, but time will not."

Love all those quotes.

Your posts make me chuckle. You sound like so much fun :)

Best of luck with everything you do.

i seem to be on a (much needed) theme...

let go of the difficulties of the past...the past is over!! hurrah!! get rid of the negative...re-program yourself!! think thin!! :Angel_anim:

as kureransu said...raa! raa! raa! anyone got any pom poms??! then again can you be a cheerleader at (almost) 42??? hmmmm maybe not!!! :smilielol5:

i must remember to live life in the moment...b/c after all thats all we've got...this' moment & 'this'... then 'poof' they're gone!!

i always liked a line penelope cruz's character said in that movie with tom cruise were he dies (i think!!) or changes his appearance & lives his life again...something like that!! the one were cameron diaz goes a bit psycho ex GF at the wheel of the car...y'know what was it called??! anyway pen said (d'you think she gets called that??)

every passing minute is another chance to turn things all around.

Hi everone! I am so excited about this site. It has so many resources. I used to be overweight and unhealthy until I decided to take charge of my life and my health. Since then I have lost 60lbs and am well on my way to my goal.I have so much more energy and wish I would have had the motivation sooner. My trainer stuck with me through it all and she was absolutely amazing. Now I just use her for tune ups here and there when I need it. I am heading to the doctor today to see if I can stop my diabetes meds. I am hoping for the best. Look forward to getting to know everyone.

Thanks
Tammy
