Hi everyone.
My name's Diana. I'm a 19 yr old university student in England who has recently put on just over a stone through v v v bad eating habits.
I know i'm not overweight and 15 pounds isn't as much as what some of this forum's amazing members have lost, but it's quite a big deal for me. I've never had a problem with my weight before and am finding it really hard to motivate myself. So your support and help would be v much appreciated.

More than anything I just want to sort out my lifestyle since the stuff I'm eating has just turned ridiculous, particularl since I have such a sweet tooth. I'm actually very active and train for uni triathlon. So I'm hoping that as long as I cut out my pack of biscuits a day I may be able to lose around a stone by the end of this month.

5ft 3inches
Start Weight: 123lbs
Goal Weight by December 1st: 109lbs
Goal Weight by christmas: 105lbs
(Original weight when starting uni was 100lbs)

I'm looking to kickstart my diet this week with a mild detox for 5 days:
No desserts except fruit
No butter
No cornflakes
No meat
No alcohol
2 cups of green tea every morning

Hopefully going vegetarian for 5 days won't be too tough since I enjoy seafood anyway. WIll just be replacing my chicken sandiwhces for tuna.
I am probs going to find cutting out chocolate and biscuits to be v tough though.

Alway fingers crossed ........
(Ohhh and I'd love a diet buddy as well - someone who's also looking to lose around a stone in a month :)

Hey welcome to the forum :)
Im a university student in England too, just started my second year. I definitely put on a bit of weight in the first few months last year just out of laziness and I guess alcohol contributed!
I think you'll loose quite quickly seeing as you'll be active, but I think 15 lbs by Christmas might be a bit too adventurous just because that will mean loosing about 3 lbs per week. To keep it off you should probably be loosing 1-2 lbs per week.
Cutting out the biscuits will definitely help :p try and bulk up on vegetables. I know it sometimes hard on a uni budget but they often work out alot cheaper than lots of ready meals. My essentials lately are veg, baked beans, wholemeal bread, porridge, yoghurt etc. I try and only have one small treat a day like a kit kat which is only 107 calories or muller light yoghurts which are under 100 and quite filling!
Good Luck!!

Hey kirsty :). Thanks for replying and the snack tips. Yup i'm going to try actual cooking - lol. That way I can put some much needed fresh veg in my diet.
Hmmmm - I guess 15 pounds is quite a lot in a short time. I'm not too bothered what actual weight I become. I'm just looking to drastically cut the sugar out my diet and become a lot healthier.
1-2lbs each week sounds like a good plan...

Congratz on ur weight loss btw

Today so far:
