Oh, Easter Sunday, I just know this is going to be a bad day for the diet. Already had an egg salad sandwich from the coloured eggs my brother and I made, which wasn't so bad, since I made it with light mayo and threw in as many veggies as we had that would taste good (okay just green and purple onions). We watched Toy Story again; I had forgotten what a great movie it was! I want to watch Toy Story II but I won't have time since Josh is coming to pick me up for Easter Dinner at his house (since my family isn't having one) in like two hours and I still have to get ready.

Easter dinner will be turkey, gravy, stuffing and probably potatoes too - so much carbs, but I can't say no to them or I'll look ungrateful! I'll just try and fill up on the meat and just have a little stuffing and potatoes to look good (oh but she makes the best stuffing ever!)

So there you have it, I don't think tomorrow is going to be a good weigh-in at all :(

Hi Beagle! Enjoy your Easter dinner. If you weigh any more tomorrow, it's probably just water weight anyway. Keep on doing your thing girlfriend, you'll start moving things in the right direction! Happy Easter.

hehe, what a cute signature you have MJ! I could watch that dancing girl forever...

Anyways, dinner went fairly well last night. When I counted it all up, it was only like 800 calories - which is still a lot for a dinner, but because I hadn't eaten much until then I didn't go over :)

Josh and I still went to the gym, and I did 50 minutes on the eliptical! Holy crap I thought I was gonna die! I feel pretty okay today, and Josh wants to do at least a short trip again, so we may do that, either way, I'll do an Ab Jam when I get home.

Breakfast so far was about 1.5 cups of fruit salad, and one of those tiny tiny chocolate eggs. Lunch looks like banana bread toast, and we'll see what's for dinner later.

Good job on the elliptical! Go girl. That's what I've been doing lately, trying to get at least an hour of cardio. Today I was working out so long I felt like I wasn't even in my body! lol Must of been in a trance while I was reading my fitness magazine.

800 calories isn't bad for Easter dinner! That's pretty good actually. I like your non-dieting journal. Is it hard to keep up with both journals? I find myself on the computer way too much.

Anyhow, have a great day and happy exercising! You're going to look so good at your wedding.

P.s. Hula Girl says thanks! She's exercising for me. lol

Today was a pretty bad day for food >< Well, it was alright, except for the PIZZA in the middle of the day! If I'd had something else I would have been okay.

So food went like this:
- fruit salad for breakfast: 250 cals/32 carbs
- tiny little chocolate egg: 50 cals/3 carbs
- 2 big slices of meatlovers pizza: 800 cals/84 carbs
- chicken noodle soup: 75 cals/9 carbs
- orange: 75 cals/15 carbs
- porkchop: 200 cals/0 carbs
- big ol' serving of veggies: 150 cals/35 carbs
Total: 1600 cals/179 carbs

Just terrible :(

I'm trying to keep it under 1300 cals/100 carbs so I will definitely have to try harder tomorrow! In fact, for tomorrow, to try and make up for this monstrosity of a day, I'm going for 1000 cals and 50 carbs. I have an idea of what I'll be eating already so it'll be doable.

Oh man I'm sleepy, and I have such a full day ahead of me! I have to finish preparing my swedish oral exam, and then head down to the university to record it so I can hand it in before the written exam tomorrow. Then I've got to make it back to this end of the city to do my workout for an hour at the gym, then Josh and I are opening a joint account for wedding savings, and THEN we still have to do our 5 hour shift at work. I've already wasted an hour sleeping in so I better get to work!

Food For the Day
Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with cheese (425 cals/3.5 carbs)
(Planned) Lunch: lemon chicken caesar salad from the university (est. 400 cals/20 carbs)
(Planned) Dinner: Cream of Broccoli Soup At Hand (150 cals/17 carbs)
Estimated Totals: 975 cals/40 carbs

Sometimes I'm so dense and don't even notice I'm passing over replies in my own journal!

Anyways, I find that keeping up with two journals isn't so difficult for me, because the two are kept pretty seperate. I try and keep my dieting efforts out of the other journal because the people who read that one don't really care much about them, and I keep the boring day to day stuff out of this journal because then I'd lose focus here. I recently started up one of those extrapounds accounts, but don't bother with the blog because really, how will it be any different from this one, aside from the fact no one would read it? But their food and exercise tracking pages, plus the ticker are pretty neat even without the blog!

If you want "too much time on the computer" you should have seen me in high school I was such a nerd! I was on like five or six different message boards, always logged into at least two different messangers, and had blogs all over the dang place! So I guess 2 doesn't seem so bad anymore :) I still log into a couple messangers at once, but that's because I have one program that plugs into all of them at the same time so I don't have to pick which friends I keep in touch with (and I don't even log in that often anymore).

So slight change to the food today, instead of a Soup At Hand, Josh brought me a greek salad, which I am loving more each time I have it! I used to find it suspicious to have such a chunky salad, but I have defnitely changed my mind :D

At the gym today, we did 30 minutes on the treadmill - and I was able to do run/walk reps the whole time! Almost died though :p Soon I'll be able to do the whole thing comfortably, and then I'll have to kick it up a notch! Not sure if I should to faster or longer run reps though. Then we did 20 mins on the eliptical, which I also did fairly easily - but I've always found the eliptical easier than the treadmill.

You know what really put snacks into perspective for me? I would have to jog for twenty minutes, or do the eliptical for half an hour just to make up for a bag of chips! It really isn't worth the effort anymore!

Mornin' Beagle Bailey :D I can finally get here!!!! LOL You are doin' so great!!! Those snacks don't look so appealing when you put them in terms of exercise huh? I put mine in terms of "butter" - you know, this is how much butter I would be eating if I ate this snack and it would be all on my hips! LOL It kind of grosses me out enough to not eat it :D

Hope you have a beeutiful day and keep up the great work :D

ewww butter?! Now whenever I want a chocolate bar, I'm going to picture it made out of butter too! Yuck!

Today I'm going to have to plan very, very carefully. I'm going out to dinner with Josh and his family tonight since his birthday is tomorrow but his dad has to go back to Texas since Easter was over a few days ago. Anyways the restraunt we're going to (The Keg) only has one dish worth eating because its sooooo good - steak and lobster! Even without the loaded side potato, the meal comes to like 900 calories all in one sitting! So, I've got to plan around it. So far I've had a granola bar for breakfast (200) because someone told me its a good breakfast for right before an exam, I've then got 200 calories left, so I guess I'll grab a fruit smoothie. I was all looking forward to a chicken parmigian sub from subway, but it'll have to wait for another day since its like 500 cals for a small!

I have to remember, tonight is my Ab Jam night! I gotta keep at it if I want to make it through the darned thing without having to take breaks to rest my abs!

You Are Doign Awsome Sorry I Been So Busy And My Pc Is Messing Up But I Am Working On It! Keep Up The Good Work And Do Those Tubo Jamsssssssssssssssssssss ((i Want Them So Bad)) Lol

its okay Tina, I'll forgive you ;)

So yesterday was a total bust calorie wise. I totally hadn't taken into consideration starters or desert for dinner! I tried to keep them pretty healthy as much as I could - starter was crab stuffed portabello's with some cheese, and desert was an ice cream cake so I only had a tiny little peice.

The good news is that I maintained overnight, I didn't put on a pound like I was expecting (though last night I had a dream that I was trying to weigh myself on a food scale!). Today I have to be extra conservative with my food again though to catch up.

Wooohooo Doing Awsome I Am Gonna Go See Them New You Pics Keep Up The Great Work! Are You Back On The 1200 Cal Diet? I Have A Support Thread Started!

Your doing so awesome Beagle! Great job, i'm gonna check out the pics right after this!!

Your doing a same sort of thing as me, the low carb thing, seems to be working well for us!!! I was a carb addict before so this is a good thing!!

Keep up the great work!

cheers,
michelle

Mmm, Josh brought me a turkey and stuffing sandwich for lunch :) I'm not sure of the contents nutritionally, but it was probably about 350 calories, and 50 carbs, so for dinner I'm grabbing a chicken breast and salad to round me out.

Thanks for checking my before/after thread too girls :D I don't think I'm quite "hot" yet, but its good to know someone does!

Today is Operation: Clean Bailey's Pigsty of a Room! This in fact may be a multi-day operation. I've already made a sizable dent, but I'm only like a third done it. Maybe if I didn't keep checking the internet it'd go a lot faster :p

Hey Beagle! Good luck with the cleanup operation! You're too funny!

I was just catching up with you. I was a computer geek in HS too, stayed online way too much. I used to have 2 IM's going as well. haha

How'd you like the Greek Salad? that is one of my all time fav's! MMM

Josh seems like he's really good to you! You're a lucky gal. Getting excited about the upcoming wedding?

Greek Salad was great, as always! I think I love them better than chef salads! Could have used a little more vinegar though, I like the extra kick it gives to the taste :)

Josh is really good to me :) He's really nice when I'm good, and kind of stern when I've been bad (not mean, but he won't let me eat bad foods if I don't have room for them), and he goes to the gym with me and makes me do 5 minutes more when I want to stop (or sometimes ten when he can tell I'm just being lazy). Sometimes I wish he'd let me take the easy road, but that's not his way. He keeps me on the straight-and-narrow of weight loss, and we have lots of fun at it too!

In other news, I had a bit of a scare today, since it seems that my fish has been developing an infection that was only noticable today as "dropsy" (swelling of the body and scales sticking out)... when I read up on it, all the websites made it sound like he was gonna die inevitably from, but I ran out and got the meds for it anyways, and he seems to be doing much better now, so I think he's gonna make it!
