Beagle's New Journal

I tell you, if it wasn't for the fact I'll be getting about $500 more on that paycheque, and that I have a giant credit card bill that needs paying, I wouldn't be doing it. Well that and the fact I'd have to find a new job, and who the heck else is going to pay a university student $13/hr without having to completely degrade myself?
 
Friday Food: 1200
Breakfast - 300
- 2 granola bars - 300
Lunch - 350
- small pizza sub (w light mayo) - 350
Dinner - 550
- sliced chicken breast - 250
- tater tots - 200
- chicken sauce - 100

Water - 50 oz

Exercise - none yet, planning on 'jamming' after school.

So much for staying under 1000 today :( I wish I'd woken up on time to make myself a proper breakfast rather than just grabbing some junk on the way out the door.

Anyways, I don't think I'll workout today in any case, I feel pretty blech physically. My legs have been feeling a little weak, I think they need the break.

- bag of cheddar sunchips (breakfast of freakin' champions, I know!) - 220

You know what the one good thing will be after my retraining? On saturdays I'll get to start at ten, which means I get to sleep until 8! Mmm... sleep :)

Its kind of strange, I wasn't able to sleep until almost 2:30am last night, but I am not that tired this morning. Maybe its because 3.5 hours of sleep is more like a nap so I'm just "refreshed". I bet I'll be exhausted by the end of my shift.

Afternoon, Beagle :) 3.5 hours of sleep?! That's it?!?! Thats only a cat nap! Hope you make it through your day all right. Keep up the good work :)
 
You know it is crazy, but I'm still not tired! My eyes burn from the strain, but mentally, I don't think I could lay down to rest! I think it might have to do with a new supplement I'm taking that has a caffine derivitive in it, but I've never been especially sensitive to caffine, so its strange... its probably why I couldn't sleep last night either. Brain just wouldn't turn off! Though I did have about half a dozen wickedly awesome ideas :D
 
I seem to have a lot of nights where my brain doesn't seem to want to cut off even without caffeine! It can get very annoying! Probably means I shouldn't take any kind of supplements with caffeine, because then I might never sleep. :rolleyes:

You are doing great! Just keep thinking about how you will be getting more money to mentally help yourself get through this week. I certainly know how a student can always use the money.
 
Its actually kind of funny. when I got home from work I was so tired and tried to nap... but the same thing happened again! In an hour and a half in my bed I think I slept about fifteen minutes then gave up. Now its after midnight, and I can go a couple more hours at least.

This is really strange, because I usually have no trouble sleeping at all! I've just been going all day with only a couple slips... I need to put this energy to use ;)
 
So like an hour after my last post, I crashed HARD, and slept for a good 10 hours. I would have slept longer but I have errands to do today. I feel much better now :p

LOL Well, Beagle, guess you needed it, huh? :p :D hehehe I have a problem with caffine if I have it past 11 a.m. :rolleyes: You would think it would wear off before bed, but I keep poppin' around like a lunatic! LOL Keep up the good work and enjoy your weekend :)

I think next week I'll move on to the next Jam workout, which is 45 minutes long!

Blarg, my weight in has me gaining a pound >< I've been slacking the past couple of days here, and it shows. I really have to be super-strict with myself if I want to ever make any progress, and that's just not very fun so I keep slipping :(

The first thing I did today after weighing myself was to do a workout, so I'm feeling better now. Partly because I feel like I'm actually working towards my goal, and also partly because exercise pumps out the 'feel good' hormones, so I can't help but be a bit happier after :)

I have to be super-careful today! I'm going to reweigh myself tomorrow morning to see if it makes a difference, maybe the extra weight was just from the big dinner last night.

In any case, I am a stinky girl now so I am going to have a nice hot shower!
 
How'd you enjoy that shower "Stinky Girl"? :p :D I know this smelly one enjoyed hers after her workout! LOL You'll get back on track! Heck you have all of us to keep an eye on you :D A big dinner the night before would make a big difference on the scale I would think. Reweighin' is a good idea. Then kick butt! :D Keep up the good work and I hope the scale reads well for ya tomorrow :)
 
Oh you know I loved it. I'm pretty sure that the amount that a shower is enjoyed is proportionate to how much I offend my own senses ;)

I need to figure out my calories so far so I can decide on what to have for dinner! Hmmm...

Water - 25 oz

So 750 as of this posting (in case I go back and edit it later), which means I have 550 for dinner. Oh good, because I was planning on having a sub, so if I really wanted to, I could even go for a large :eek: I probably won't, but its good to know I have the option.
 
Hey Bailey! Hope dinner turned out yummy. :) You're doing really good. And that one pound just could be water.. :) You're not alone though.. a few others of us have seen the scale move in the wrong direction too. Maybe we ought to kick it a few times! :D
