Be_gone_soon's diary

WELL SPRING BREAK IS HERE. I CAN'T GO TO THE GYM WITH ALL OF MY KIDS HOME SO I AM GOING TO TRY MY OWN THUING HERE. Lifting weights and some form of cardio. I have to go to town first thing. I ticked off abiout it. You woul think people could do their jobs! We went Sat. to get pig feed. We got home and it's cow feed. BIG difference. So I have to take it back this morning. Then I have to come back home, drop off the truck and pick up the car to go grocery shopping. Fun and more fun!!:(

Well, thats too bad about the feed.

Maybe you can do some kind of excersize w/ the kids involved, like soccer or something?

Hope you have a happy monday :)

Do you have workout DVDs? If not, you could probably pick up a fairly cheap one at Wal-Mart or a book store. Or you may be able to get one from the library. Since you really only have to depend on it this week, it doesn't have to be a great one. You can just throw it out when you're done. Haha.

Howdy "B",
I hope you find something you can do indoors I have locking my bedroom door throwing in a cd and dancing and running in place squats ect since hubby worked late and couldn't get a walk in.
I feel for ya spring break geeesh our's is coming April 2nd and it will be a mad house!!That is my only peice and quiet I get and I even babysit 2 and I have my little guy so you see my 3 schoolers are the HYPED ones lol.
Enjoy your time and if the weather is nice maybe go for a walk with them I can do walks but taking 4 kids to a store NOWAY........Tammy

hmmm, so you live near any parks with walking trails that surround a play area? we have one here and when its warm enough out my kid plays at the park while I walk laps. soccer sounds fun too!

Ouch! It is expensive shopping with kids. At least since I've been coming here I have felt more resolute about all the junk they try to get in the shopping trolley!

I hope you are not worn out yet!!

aint that the truth Fel,
I go shopping in the evening or early morning WITHOUT the kids if i can help it.
Saves a lot of time and hassle. Also i make as fast a trip as possible - if i dither it usually means im getting crap i dont need/require.
Another thing i do, i avoid totally about 7 of the 10 isles. Ones with stuff i really done want/need. ie the chippies, fizzy drinks, cakes, etc

I feed my family of 6 on a bout $120 a week (thats about $60 USD)

Hey Mechelle. Hope you're having a better day. Running around and playing with your kids burns a lot of calories - good workout.

Take care.

Do they have spring break camps for kids in your area? our community center does special spring break programs, like gymnastics, ballet, soccer, basketball, pottery...that kind of stuff. My son is still too young to participate but it's an option in my area thought it might be something like that in yours. Check it out.
And WHOA, wishes, you are like a grocery budget guru or something. I can't even make it out of the store without dropping at least a $100. And its just me and my five year old...lol. I don't know if thats sad or what.
