And WHOA, wishes, you are like a grocery budget guru or something. I can't even make it out of the store without dropping at least a $100. And its just me and my five year old...lol. I don't know if thats sad or what.

Nothing like that here. It's just too small. We don't even have a community center!!:D I tried to post yesterday and for some reason it wouldn't let me.:confused: I took the kids to yoga class with yesterday and will again tomorrow. They had fun. I did weight training at home yesterday and today I am off to play volley ball at the park with some friends, while the kids play. Then I am home to make an extra nice dinner for my husbands 30th b-day!:)
 
Excellent for gettin in exercise with the kids - you go girl and happy 30th to the hubby - boy oh boy - my x is turnign 40 on Friday adn ringing it in on his own...poor sap - anyway Im proud of you and missing you !!!
 
hope all is going good. The yoga with the kids sounds intresting & hopefully fun. I remember a few years back I had a friend who was big into yoga & she convinced me & her younger brother to do it with her. We ended up just cracking up laughing at ourselves the whole time. Didn't help he had a bad case of gas that some of the poses helped to evidently eveliate....lol. After that we never let him join us again. Jokesters are way too distracting for something that is supposed to be calming.

Hope you had fun with your kids at yoga :) And a great time playing volleyball, too! When do the kids go back to school?
 
Holidays! I like the way most deadlines disappear in holidays.

However it's so much harder to do the things you usually do when the children aren't around.

It's great that you are trying to manage that as a challenge rather than just skipping your exercise for a while. :)

Monday school starts again. And I'm glad. They didn't enjoy it much.:eek:

It's going. I am trying to get everything and still make things kind of fun. Tomorrow night a bunch of us are getting together for my hubby's birthday and going out to eat. That will be fun . No kids!!:D
 
Oh well, at least you tried. lol Just a few more days and you can start shipping them off to school again. Haha. Then you'll get right back in the swing of things, I'm sure. :)
 
Good morning everyone!! I had a good day yesterday. I thank you for dropping in and hope to start catching up by Monday with everyone else. Hectic week I've had and the weekend looks that way to. Sometimes normal is good. I am running out of steam . I have been trying to entertain kids and get spring cleaning done before my husband's parents get here at the end of April. Lots and lots to do!!:( But I am going to catch up soon. Don't give up on me!:eek:
 
Entertain kids and spring clean at the same time....Hmmm.

I guess if they all have jobs of their own it might work. It doesn't work for me! LOL. I really like to clean when there's no one around - so at least I can see what I have done before it's demolished!:D

I hope you enjoy your dinner out. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun.
 
Had a great time at dinner. I didn't gain one single lb!!!! Then we headed over and played mini golf , then off to Starbucks! My husband and I split one so it wasn't bad either. Today I am not sure what we are doing. I am trying to get out of town for the weekend!;)
