Ok still doing ok. I am not going to the gym today as the roads are icy.I'm a whimp I know!:eek: So I'll try to get some exercises done around here..:)
 
That's not whimpy, that's smart ;) No need to be driving on icy roads. Just burn up those cals on the keyboard today :)

I rally don't know. I am exercising and seeing results in my appearance. But the scales aren't dropping. But 3 days till TOM!:( Also I am eating good. I am just really tired the last few days. All I want to do is sleep. Must be because I am close!:rolleyes:
 
I here ya abt that...especially beening tired and such and when you are exercising and eating well and still you dont see the scale move it is so frustratign , I was ready to give up last time...you will get throught his and break this nasty cycel...have you ever thought abt trying to up your cals for a week or so or posting in the harsh truth section ???

I have done both. I am just waiting for change. A lot of it is because I don't have a lot to go. It's hard to get it to come off. I'll get through. I am not giving up. I am going to be skinny!:)
 
That's right, Mechelle! You're almost there! Eeeek! That last little bit is pretty stubborn. But as long as you're seeing & feeling the changes in your body, that's what matters the most.
 
It's always the last few that don't to go. Have you tried changing up your workout? Trying a different cardio machine, or going to cardio classes at the gym?

You'll get there, we all will!;)
 
I am doing fine. isometimed consider doing something drastic for my weight loss. This waiting drives me crazy!:mad: But in the end I just wait it out. I am depressed tonight. I think it's a lot to do with winter. i simply can't stand it. it makes my life miserable!:(
 
I'm sorry you feel so bad. Winter has a chemical effect on a lot of people that makes them really depressed. its called seasonal depression i think. it happens to me. it just has to do with lack of sunlight or something. I'm super motivated all of a sudden. i was considering doing something drastic like bulemia (just when i was frustrated) because i have such a weak stomach and sensitive gag reflex. But the truth is.. you'll feel better when you slowly work it off, because it keeps it off longer. Wanting to do something drastic will just make it seem ok to cheat on the diet cuz you can do it again. i hope you can cheer up!
 
Well I am in a better frame of mind today. I can actually get out of the house, I think. The roads are clear. We may be getting dumped on again today, I am going to the gym early, when I drop off the kids. I also go check on an elderly woman today who is house bound. So at least I am out of the house.:D
 
Hey. Good to hear you're getting out today, it can be quite depressing in the winter I know. It's actually quite spring-like here today and the weather is having a huge effect on my motivation already (I think it's that subconscious reminder that beach-season is coming!) Anyway have a good one. :)
 
WooHoo your gettin out today...that will definately change your mood if driving is good...If I can ever do anything for ya, just let me know!!!
 
I simply could not imagine being house bound - I know I would go crazy.
You guys would get So sick of me posting ;)

They have the roads cleared now, so driving was fine. I got over 2 miles on the elliptical trainer in 20 mins!:eek: Burned 230 cals. Then went into my yoga class. sparks says 30 min of yoga is 120 cals and I feel so much better getting that done. I'm off to check on an elderly lady that I look in on every other Friday, so I'm off again!:)
 
TOM for me in a couple days. So I have gained a little. Which for me is normal. But I'm weighing in anyway 2LA!

So here's the yuck. 155:(
