Brrr, snow in the mountains? We have yet to see termination dust here, but last year it was there on Sept 19th. I'm hoping for a better winter then we had last year. I really nearly went batty towards the end. And our summer seemed so short because I was so busy. Keep up the good work and have fun at your quilting bee!

In the mountains, yes! And it's been getting down to about 35-40 at night, so brrrr, is right!!

I love fall also. I don't seam to get warm in the winter. And my day has been going great!!

Well I helped quilt and it was fun. A kind of social gathering of all ages and learning to quilt. I really enjoyed it!!
Good job on walking in the cold. I am a bit of a baby about weather & hate to go out unless its just right. Not too hot, not too cold. Wish I could send you a few degrees. It is 82 here & feeling a bit warm for me for September. I'm ready for fall & temps in the low 70s, maybe a bit of a chill.

I do better in the winter at keeping at exercising, because i am always trying to get warm. It beats sitting around in a blanket!!:santa:

I came from Ok to Co and I don't miss the heat yet!! But I wish it would just stay fall for a few months!!;) The quilting is great!!
 
I need to get into my quilting stuff, I have about 9 fat quarters of really pretty materials, lots of toille, that I want to make a patchwork quilt with for my brother and his wife. its just very time consuming and if I am going to sit down and do it I want to have several hours in a row or I can't manage to accomplish anything...lol.

You should get together a group! It goes pretty fast for us. Everyone helps design and put it together. It works out just great!!:)
 
WOW chicky you've lost 2 lbs since you moved, that's fantastic!! your doing such a great job. Moving is never easy, and it is much harder when you have to leave people behind. At least your not to far away, you can easily come back for a visit right?? Your place is near the lake?? Even though I'm about 1/2 a mile from Lake Draper, I rarely go there, isn't that weird?? I really need to try and take walks when I can near the water, I bet that would be nice, I better hurry however, it's started to cool down now. LOL I'll check back by later!! Have a great day today!! Man, I can't believe how much stuff I missed in the few weeks I was gone! It's my first time stopping into your new diary. :) I'm glad you're settling in to your new place and still doing so well.

Thank you! I hope to be stick thin, but as i am curvy, I don't see it happening. I'll take what I can get though!:D

Curves are hot, I don't care how tall or how short you are, I think a women with curves is smoking! Well, that's probably because I'm curvy as well. LOL LOL a little bias I guess. Hope your day is a good one!!:D

You're a mega-hottie Mechelle. ;) I totally feel Sir Mix-a-lot because I also like BIG BUTTS. I just think curvy women are super hot. But I also appreciate women who don't have curves and think they're also hot. I get pissed off when people oppress skinny people. There's a group on Facebook called "Real Women Have Curves". How mean!

Aunt Flo came to visit today and I am not feeling so very HOT!!:D But it was a pretty good day despite that. I have only gained 1 lb from it, so i am pretty happy about that!! Have a great day also!!:)

I lost down to 153.4 today. I am going to Ok. My bro-in-law has been sick and I am going out to see him. Will be gone the rest of the week at least. Just wanted to keep you updated and tell you why I haven't been to diaries.
 
Sorry that your brother-in-law has been sick :( Hope it's nothing too serious and he gets well soon. Unfortunately it sounds like it might be. We're all here for you Mechelle and my thoughts are with you and your family. x
