Hi guys,
New here, so first of all hi, and sorry if this thread is in the wrong place.
I am new to working out etc so i dont know many of the terms used around here, so if you could answer as if i know nothing (basically the case anyway!) i would appreciate it.
Basically, what is the best way to train to become lean/toned but without getting bulky? as in should I be using small weights with lots of reps? Lots of weight low reps? If you could also explain why I would be interested to know.
I currently am not a member of a gym but was wondering, if you join a gym is there usually access to someone who you can explain your goals to, maybe take along a photo or something, that can give you a complete program to reach those goals? (a personal trainer I suppose?) If so does this usually cost extra? alot? (am a student)
Would people reccomend this or just to go it alone? If not, what's the best way to learn what muscles you ought to be training, how and when etc.
Thanks in advance
