Banning people that are here to start trouble.

I propose a new rule so that mods/admins can ban new members if it is obvious they are here to start trouble and haven't contributed anything.

I.E Gas.

LOL, im backing ya here Phate.

GET RID OF GAS :D

I agree

People having disagreements is fine but when an account is made purely for the purpose of causing disruption then what's the point in allowing them to stay and trying to drive others away?

Here is the list of his/her 33 posts thus far:

IMO, a mod thoroughly examines the posts.

And, interaction from other members.

Compares it to contribution quality, general good of the forum, and rules and regulations.

Then responds with a professional answer on a decision.

If a request is made, it needs looked into "appropriately" and not left hanging like alot of suggestions and other issues have lately.

So after review, what is it Mod/Admin?

Best wishes,

Chillen

I agree that gas is an annoying and disruptive member who doesn't have anything good to contribute. I made the mistake of agreeing with one of her first posts, but since then she's been nothing but nuisance.

I appreciate it's difficult for mods to act because they can't appear to be banning people because they don't like them so they need to wait for an obvious infraction to be made

Gas is pushing it a bit too far though

We feel no need to consult you when something has already been looked into.

You misread my post.

I wasnt referring to myself in anyway, shape, or form.

However, mod feedback needs to be improved.

You just proved it.

Best wishes

No, you misunderstood mine. We have already looked into it, and a decision has been made. A lot goes on behind closed doors that you don't concern yourself with, trust us that the ball is rolling all the time. Just because we don't update you every week doesn't mean things aren't happening. As soon as you become a mod you'll know exactly where everything stands all the time, until then we'll let you know.

Really? How? Who have I insulted? BigTomW in contravention of Allcdnboy's warning in the wellness forum has just posted vulgarity. Phate89, yourself (CCR) and Kraken have just posted what may be misconstrued as insults. If anything you should be wondering about actual posted insults/attacks not imagined ones.

Gas your posting insults aswell. In PM's etc.

Just sort your ***** out, do you actually workout? TRY get along with forum members instead of pointing out every MINOR thing people say.

Contrevention? Please clarify as I'm not sure of the definition for this one.
I'm sure its my own lexicon that is lacking here.

In my first post, I was being "due process" like. Just letting the members know that certain things have to be considered before a decision is made.

I know there's communication in the back ground.

However, the communication is still lacking obviously as some are obviously not informed and/or misinformed.

On the common sense side. Its obvious the decision, thus far, is not to ban gas. As she is still posting.

BigTomW, don't tell lies. I haven't posted any insults either in p.m's or on the forums. All I have done in p.m's is to ask people to stop being vulgar (Karky also mentioned one can send a p.m to ask people to tone down their language or to report the post to the mods). Yet you have attacked me without provocation and used vulgarity in the forums because you think you are above the law. Why did you not report anything to the mods? Its because I did nothing wrong and you have to trump up fake charges while being openly vulgar on the forums.

The admins can't just ban anyone from the forum because someone is very much disliked, there has to be a serious offence before someone can be banned. I agree that he/she is here to cause trouble, but it has grabbed the admins and mods' attention. Something will get done about it if it continues. Should someone be banned because they come in and post some opinions that a lot of people disagree with? I don't think so. We need to be 100% sure before we ban someone. The admins and mods are on it and members should not try to take the law into their own hands so to speak.

To be honest I've seen way more insults towards Gas than Gas has given. I'm not saying Gas hasn't provoked it, but people shouldn't let themselves be antagonized, instead, report the post and say that you think this person is antagonizing people and looking for a fight.

Because little insults like 'why dont i get a job and a life' etc (which i do have a very good job etc) :D Dont bother me, i dont need to snitch.

I havnt attacked you at all. Yea i was being vulgar and that has calmed down already, but you just seemed to interfere all the time.

Are we all gonna leave this **** and carry on the forum with out the arguing etc...?

This is a good point. We, mods, stay unbiased in banning people. If we weren't, we'd just ban everyone we didn't like.

For those of you that don't know...you can put a forum member on ignore. If you don't like someone, put them on ignore.
