Back on the Wagon...

Hope she's ok. And that must be going around with the cooking cuz I haven't wanted to cook the last two nights either. After months of home cooked meals we've eaten pizza and tonight KFC :X. Tomorrow I gotta go shoppin, lol.

oooh, I really wanted some crunchy KFC :drool5:! But I know I usually eat big or "naughty" on Thursday or Friday night with the BF, so I said I'll be semi-good tonight lol. The worse thing I'll do is have some cereal.

Oh...yea my granny is ok, she basically gave herself a chemical burn on her thigh and back...mixed a topical pain reliever with rubbing alcohol on her skin. So I bought her a few things to cleanse the areas and protect them. Made me feel more confident about my nursing skills, glad to help someone so close to me....but physiology is still kickin my butt! lol I might just stay a LVN forever! lol

MY proud moment of the day:

I reached the second loop in my belt without losing my breath lol:hurray:

I wasn't even trying, but when I pulled my belt it just went there. I feel silly, but that felt good.

Anyway, other than that, I've been drinking too much tea. Gotta cut back. It just tastes so light its easy to drink a whole bottle, especially when its ice cold. Yum :drool5:

Oh poop! I made it 12 days before my eating habits went straight to hell lol. This usually happens when I spend all day at the BF's, I'm thinking I'm going to have to go grocery shopping with him to make sure he has the good stuff at his house for me to eat, as well as having the right things at my place. And he lives too close to KFC, Carls Jr. and Weinerschnitzel lmao. They are walking distance away! I'm not planning on doing anything destructive today but I think I'll restart logging in my food log tomorrow, only cause its the 1st.

I'm gonna hit the gym in about a hour, todays my weigh-in day...*fingers crossed for good news*

New month, fresh start

Didn't do too well last month, but at least I lost something.

I might be getting a new kitten, I'm kinda nervous. My oldest cat is so well behaved, I've never had a problem with her but you can have some issues with scratching and the two cats adjusting to each other.

Wish me luck that I get a good kitty and their a good match!

Oh poo! So, I emailed this lady regarding an ad she posted about 5wk old kittens. We went back and forth for a while (I wanted her to hold the kitten till friday, she basically said, IF she is still avail I could have her), so I finally emailed her and said ok, I'll come pick up the cat early (ragdoll mix going for $300), but now the woman hasnt emailed me back allll day Sunday and I had really gotten my hopes up that I was getting a new little girl. I emailed her from another email address I have (as if I was someone new). All she said was the price and said yea the cat is still avail "for now". So I immediately said ok, can I pick her up today? She hasnt emailed me back.

I hate to sound paranoid, but is this woman playing games or what? I understand its Sunday and she is perhaps busy with family, but when I talked to her Saturday, she made it sound as if it was rush rush rush, cat's gonna go fast! Now she isnt answering my emails. Other than her simply being busy, me and the BF were kinda wondering if maybe she is playing a bid game...say the cat is one price to several people and then see if anyone will up their offer to get the cat. I can understand, especially if she is on the up and up on their breed, but dang it! It would be nice if she was on the up and up about that...could have said "OBO" in ad, then I'd know what to expect, or just let me know in an email so I'm not left hanging.

I know this sounds like a silly little thing to some folks, but I really got my hopes up. She sent me a pic of the little one and I'd love to add her to my family. P.S. if you havent guessed, I'm CRAZY about cats. So crazy that my family actually asks me about my cat every time they call, as if she was my very own daughter, because thats pretty much how I treat her and don't know what I'd do without her!

Anyway, I'm not going to email the lady again. I couldn't even sleep well today. I woke up every few hours to check my email. Oh well, If it's meant to be, it'll be. *fingers crossed*

Awh, hope it goes well with getting the Cat. I'm sure the one that's supposed to be with you WILL BE.

Good for you for keeping on the weight loss wagon for a whole month. I'm with you on stocking up on good stuff at the boyfriends. That can be a recipe for disaster otherwise.

*pout* Didn't get the kitten. Something fishy about the whole situation. If she had promised the kitten to someone else or was looking for a higher bid, I wish she just would have said so. I'm a little sad/mad, Oh well. Life goes on.

Feeling a little "off". Haven't been maintaining my eating habits or going to the gym for a few days. Hopefully things will kick back into gear tomorrow (studying for 1st test today).

Wow I'm so sorry about you not getting the kitty. I had a similar situation happen before we got our puppy. We were supposed to get one of the neighbors puppies...guy lived right next door but lots of people were always there. After we had a little girl all picked out and I'd talked hubby into it, I couldn't get ahold of the guy. Finally I gave up and we got Lilly, who I absolutely adore. Come to find out the guy got rid of all the puppies cuz he had to but it worked out for the best I think. Is $300 pretty common for a mixed ragdoll? I know the purebred ones go for 800 but a mixed one...that sounds spendy. Hope you find another kitten from somebody not so weird. I looked on craigslist in the glendale area and didn't see any...but I'm not sure what else is close enough to you in the area so maybe if keep an eye out there you may bet lucky :)

I found you finally, I kept looking for you to post on your thread. I found this one, so it's nice to see you're back on too!!! You're doing awesome too by the sounds of it. Good for you. Just wanted to stop in to say a quick hello and to keep up the good work. Sorry about the kitty, I'm sure something better will come along. I had the same situation kind of, but then I ended up adopting a puppy that would have been euthanized (think I spelled that right...). Anyhow, everything happens for a reason, hope you find you a new little girl soon... :seeya:

Got a new kitty! I feel a touch guilty, I decided to go with a breeder. I know there are a lot of shelter kitties out there, but out of the 3 kittens I've already had, 2 were adopted and for various reasons, things didnt workout and I had to eventually adopt them out again so I said if I got another kitten, it would be a bought kitten. But I do donate to and am a member of the Human society, I know there are alot of animals out there that need help.

Anywho, she is a purebreed ragdoll, I named her Sadie Izabella. I paid $600 :svengo: lol. So far things are pretty much touch and go with introducing her to Sophia. I'm praying they will at least tolerate each other by the end of the week.

P.s. Craigslist is where the 1st kitty was posted, but someone flagged the lady because she was letting the kittens go at a young age. Thank you for looking for me though, that was so sweet. :hug2:

Yes, here I am...for now! lol I'll be moving again. If I lapse too many times I like to start a new diary...just like a fresh start and I think it's about time. But this time I'll try to post a "here i am" link to the new diary because I need allllllll the support I can get. I'm hoping, praying, that the good habits will stick eventually. Hopefully there isn't a limit on the number of diaries you can have because this may take a while lol.

Yep still posting here lol.

Actually I dont think it was heart burn at all lol...I took some no doz (working nights sucks sometimes), and this is my 1st time taking it....the BF said it can make ya feel kinda sickly and nervous.

I was doing so well with my excercise, even if not the eating, but the last week has been totally void of any motivation.
 
Oh yeah! That No doze is some nasty stuff.. I had to go to the E.R. when I took it, I thought I was going to have a heart attack or was going to freak out!!!:eek: Lol.:smilielol5: The Dr. thought I was crazy. I'll never do that again... I hear ya about the motivation... sometimes it's just hard, but get back on it girl, you can do it. Look, you already got 8.5 lbs closer to where you want to be, so keep a goin'... Luckily the No Doz didnt cause any heart palpatations or increased heart rate....that I noticed anyway, just that sick, nervous feeling.

I'm gonna try to kick my butt back into gear starting Sunday (need to start with shopping with for the good stuff)...honestly I dont feel like it and I know I've gained that 8+ back by now, but I have todo it. *sigh* I can't wait for the motivation to kick in any longer, I'm just tired of being fat and tired of being tired. My motivation usually sinks while I'm in school.

I weighed myself here at work and it said 222lbs, thats not as bad as I thought it would be, especially considering I'm only a few days away from TOM. I'll do my official weigh-in Sunday at the gym though. But the two scales are usually very close.
