Between Christmas and my birthday (Feb), I lost track of my diet and gained back 5 pounds. So now, I'm working even harder to lose the last half to get to my GW... Before, I was counting calories and drinking lots of H20. This time, I'm eating 6-8 meals a day and taking supplements - a One-a-day vitamin, Omega Acids (they really have helped with PMS in the past) and a very low dosage of Pyruvate and Chromium. All those "horsepills" are yucky, but they help keep my appetite down and they are good for me.

For my birthday, my husband got me a cruiser bike. For an early anniversary gift, I got him one, too. We both are sort of phobic of bicycles, but these are supposed to be very "user-friendly" (not to mention they have a really neat "retro" look). We rode them twice, and I am very pleased. It's fantastic exercise, but easy on the body (my husband hates running and I have to be very careful with my knees until I lose some weight up top). As it's warming up and the days are longer, I'm hoping we can go out a few times a week. I love it! :)

Anyhow, I'm hoping to lose the rest of this weight around the mid-summer. I'd love to start running again (I used to distance run a lot) and hope to be able to train for a marathon or half-marathon in the fall. It would be very exciting as last year I thought I'd never get to run again (I had severe artheritis caused by long-term CO exposure).
