back and neck :(

hi, ive noticed lower back pain which goes down to my legs and wierd feeling in my neck, and the weird thing is yesterday i didnt do anything execept some sit ups , some obliques exercises and 30 mins boxing.
should i keep lifting weights, cause if i tell my parents i want to go see a doctor due to these pain they wont let me lift weights again :( they are over protective

this is the obliques exercise i was doing , could it this be the cause of the pain?
 
ye i did slip once like 2-3 inches off the equipment,
if i did put alot of tension on my lumbar is that serious ?
can i lift weights now cause its been 2 days and the pain comes and goes less often now too
 
You might want to take off a couple days or going a little lighter and seeing how it feels. If you strained something in your back you don't want to irritate it because then it will just prolong the healing process. If it doesn't bother you when you lift then it is probably okay to start again, but if you feel any sharp pains I'd give it a couple more days
 
If it goes away farily quickly, sounds like you had a slight pinched nerve similar to "stingers" people feel with head or shoulder injuries. Different nerve plexus for you, but a similar feeling and injury no the less.

If the pain lasts for a few days deffinantly get it checked out. Could be more serious damage, or possible even a slipped disc. I have heard similar complients to yours with that injury as well.
 
jus got back from gym worked out back and legs today didnt manage to finish it :(. my back ached well its my right bottox which im talking about and then my right leg started aching, but soon as i started to do leg exercises the ache went away and it felt sooo goooood but then it came back :(
