I had two scoops of ice cream last night, I could have PROBABLY done without them!

Just working on my Uni presentation for today, its on the Pavlovian Learning Model in Advertising. I have to come up with some examples in print advertising... not sure what I will use. Might scan through some magazines today.
The model has four concepts; drive, cue, response and reinforcement. As he is only asking for a print ad I can use say a chocolate ad; the chocolate advertisement induces a strong drive in the person, the person sees the chocolate and they associate that feeling with hunger. Or the ad for BMW that reinforces status with the brand induces the drive in the person FOR status. So all I really need is an ad that drives someone to purchase the brand. The other factors of the model I can't really talk about because we do not KNOW the frequency of the advertisements etc.

The Pavlovian Model is used for introducing new brands to the market... I can't think of anything that is really NEW. Free samples are used for this... but I can't think of any free samples.

Sorry.. just blabbering on here! Trying to get my head around it.

It's nearly 10:30am, going to have my yoghurt in half and hour! I feel like today is going to be a good day diet wise. Can't wait to have my tofu sushi roll!

I went shopping and bought mum pink & white polka dot slippers, and a soft pink scarf.
I also bought 2 Lindt Balls (That I have already devoured :( ) and an Omelet Sushi roll.

It's 2:20pm... I am going to wait until 4pm to have my apple, I am not hungry but I have the urge to eat!!!!!!!!!!

Had a sneak peek at the scales this morning, didn't look good :( 57.5kg. I think it might have been due to lack of water, and my body is retaining it. There is no way I could have put on fat.
I will have to up my water intake today.

I am going to try this thing tomorrow where I only eat when I am hungry, sounds simple right? Nope!

In the morning, I will wait until I really AM hungry until I eat breakfast, then I will only eat until I am full. This will be the same for lunch and dinner. Hopefully I can start listening to my body...

It's nearly 11:30, I have had my morning yoghurt :)
Feeling good, only trying to eat when I am hungry, so I probably won't have my cup a soup today.
POURING down with rain outside :( I have to walk about a mile to uni too, so that won't be fun hah! I think I have an umbrella.
I can't wait for dinner tonight! I'm picking up my bf and we're going to Nandos (It's a portugese takeaway place, specialising in Peri Peri chicken) and I LOVE their wraps! I was thinking that just chicken would be good though, but then I might be tempted to have chips, and a regular serve is about 500 calories!
I think I will go with the Supremo Chicken Wrap (415 Calories, 30g Protein) or the Supremo Chicken Burger (450 Calories, 35g Protein). And that's all i'll need for dinner, then i'll have my Lindt ball later :) Sorted

sorry you had to walk in the rain to uni! i had to walk with the kids that i work with the other day and my feet got soked and now i think ive got a cold coming Lol!

Thats no good, I hate colds.

I walked to the video shop in the rain the other night, it was nice! I had my rain boots on and an umbrella, it was kinda cool??

I'm going to lunch today with a girl that I used to work with and a guy from my current work, that should be fun. We are going to a cafe I have never been too, and I have been told that the soup and the warm chicken salads are good. I don't like creamy soups, so hopefully it is a vegetable soup or a minestrone.

Tomorrow morning I am going to a breakfast function for Office Professionals, so breakfast! Will probably be a buffet or something, and you get a gift bag woo! There is going to be a speaker there and entertainment. BUT it is a 6:45am, so EARLY!!!!! ARHHHHHH!!!

Lunch was fun!
I did however get the mushroom tagletellie pasta, but thank god it was too difficult to eat, so I only ate about half. I think it would have been about 700 calories, so I am estimating it at 350 calories for lunch.

Too much cake, too much junk, too much party food.

It is nearly 4pm... I probably SHOULDNT have eaten 1/2 of that sandwich, they were leftovers from a meeting and I know I shouldnt JUST eat them because they are free.

God that mega weekend really impacted my weight, I have put on 0.7kg since last Monday :(

Back on track today though, hopefully that weight might be sodium or something because of the processed foods.
 
hopefully it is try drinking lots of water to flush it out of your system! i had a gain as well this week i put on 3lbs but i think its water weight so i upped the water and fingers crossed its sorted out the problem!
I hope that the weight goes down soon!

I will try getting more water in. I just have SOOO many problems with it, I hate the taste, I hate the smell, I hate the temperature. Usually i mix a bit of boiling water in with the cold water and then i can drink it.

Will try to get 8 glasses in today!
 
i know what you mean i dont really like water but i actually cheat and mix squash in with it so it tastes like blackcurrent and when i have to drink water we have a filter which we actually got from new zealand last year and i find that helps me with the taste of the water!

I was reading a healthy living book recently, and it said that you should count ALL fluids in your diet, not just water. So adding squash or low cal cordials into your water is fine.
 
cool! one more thing if you dont like water how about trying iced tea in a bottle to carry arround with you, or hot teas some of the herbal teas out there are really yummy!
