Attn:Those who have used/are using personal trainer

All who have used or are currently using a personal trainer, please post a short critique of your experience if possible. Was/is the trainer worth it? Waste of money or money well spent? What were/are the results? I look forward to reading your responses.
 
i used a trainer about 5 years ago, when i first picked up a weight. and looking back now, i didnt learn much more than someone who has worked out for a few years could have told me. but i only used them for like 5 days (5 workouts).. but if you're scared you might hurt yourself, or you have a special condition(injury etc), i would reccomend a trainer
 
Did those five workouts set you up with a program/routine that you were able to always follow yourself after the 5 with the trainer though?
