The main thing is getting to know your body and finding out what works for YOU. Sounds like you´re doing just that! The main danger of alcohol at birthday parties is that it lowers the inhibition to snacking on the available treats.I'm slowly learning as we go. There are some tweaks go be done here and there. The carb thing for example. Or the late night eating. Keeping a register really helps. Also for me, I need a quick breakfast made of mostly protein, because otherwise I will either not eat or eat carbs and pay for that later. I Don't really demonize carbs but i know I have a history of bad responses to them
I think we all are, and it seems you are making good progress.I'm slowly learning as we go.
By the time you read this it will probably be over, I hope it went well. Cate suggested a "dry July" to keep calories down. I signed on with caveat that I would still have the occasional social drink. So far so good, I am used to having a nightcap at least 5 days a week, I have had none in the past week and will try to forgo them at least through July. I know social drinking can be hard, what I do is take one drink and then switch to diet coke or water, it works for me.It will inevitably have alcohol, which im actually not really looking forward to.
I know the feeling and it sucks. Glad you had fun at the party AND glad you had those 2 pieces of bread or your poor body would've been even more undernourished. So I struggle with tasks I should not struggle because i just feel bad and can't be bothered to do stuff.
Got 2 series of exercises done today. Bench press with 50 kg, 3x8 and military press with 40kg, 3x6. I'm considerably weaker than I used to be. And I struggle with exercise same as other tasks not because effort but because im feeling bad.
I am sure it will, glad you had fun at the party!Birthday was fun. We went to a discotheque. Lots of dancing. Some alcohol. I went over I think but the next day, but I hope it balances out.
Yeah! I saw the eclipse with my family. We didnt get 100% on Santiago, maybe 90. In other parts of Chile they saw the full eclipseHey Diego, were you anywhere near the eclipse yesterday?
I saw the total eclipse last year in Idaho, it was amazing!
Yes, I will try to do it more often. i used to be a great advocate for walking. It clears my mind too. It's just hard to break my thought pattern that usually wants me to do nothing, but once its broken, I can manageHi, Diego. Try just going for a walk. I find exercise of any sort lifts my mood. I am inclined to get down in Winter & have to push myself to move & get outside. I always feel better for it. I don't eat fruit on an empty stomach unless I combine it with yoghurt (protein).
