At it again

Thanks David!!

Thursday already. Yesterday I did the upper body and ate 5 meals, so all is good. I feel better than the other day. A moment of weakness always makes me feel bad. Especially when I have been doing so good losing the weight.

I didn't get every thing done that I wanted to yesterday, but I managed to get the rest of the house sided. So that made me feel better. I can bust out the wood on Sunday. That is my other day off.

Today is Cardio Day. I am going to try and repeat the run from Tuesday. I think that I will be able to kep this run going for a couple of weeks befor I go for another increase on the speeds of the intervals.

Meal 1: Three egg omlette with ham and swiss.
Meal 2: Low fat cottage cheese and apple
Meal 3: Power bar
Meal 4: Broiled Chicken breat and wax beans
Meal 5: Myoplex

I have hit 13 lbs for weight loss. Whooooooot Whoooooooot!!!!!

That's all for now.

hey there dennis! thought i'd just drop by and say hi. from what i've read of your diary, you look like you're well on your way. congratulations dude! i'd wish you luck in your efforts but it doesn't seem like you need it =). thanks for the support and keep up the good work. see ya around!

Well the run on Saturday killed me. I had a tough time but struggled through it. I managed to get 3 1/2 cords of wood in. I burn around 8 cords of wood every year. It is great exercise.

I have the Upper Body to do tonight. I hope to see a gain in some of my weights this week. It is almost time for a "Shake it up" workout.

The meals today are as follows:

Meal 1: 2 Scrambled eggs
Meal 2: Protien Drink
Meal 3: Low fat Cottage cheese and apple
Meal 4: Power Bar
Meal 5: Grilled chicken, brown rice, and veggies

I think that cutting back to 5 meals per day is working. I have lost 16 lbs now and 5 of that was in the week where I cut back. I will track it again this week and see how it turns out.

Thanks!! I keep on going day to day just like most people here do. I can use all of the good luck I can get right now. I think that mostly because it is way too easy to get off track and forgett the brass ring, "Hitting my goal on schedule". You always need to keep your eye on the prise.

Hello Diary!! Yesterday I did my upper body lifting. What a hectic day it was. I was running around until about 8:30 before I could get my workout in. I am holding fast to the 16 lbs weight loss.

WHOOOOOOOOT WHOOOOOOOOT!!!!

Tonight is Cardio for me. I am hoping to replicate my times from Saturday with out dying to get there.

Meals today:

Meal 1: Vanilla protien drink
Meal 2: Half of a chicken salad wrap with fat free mayo
Meal 3: other half
Meal 4: Power Bar
Meal 5: Grilled Chicken and rice with veggies.

All is going well. I am taking the weekend off Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and going to camp with my family. There are going to be about 15 of us there, so it should be a good time for all. Fishing, swimming, and generally having fun.

I was so pumped up by this run, I had to post.

I ran 2 miles in 20:24 tonight. That is my best time since I started running again. I almost have this run under control. Almost that is, it is in control of me right now.......Kicking my a$$!!

Warm up with walking 2 mins at 4 mph

1 min at 5 mph
1 min at 6 mph
1 min at 6 1/2 mph
1 min at 7 mph

I repeated this four times and at the end of the fourth set I ran 8 mph for 1 min. I then did a cool down and stretched that lasted about 30 mins total.

wow, going on a family camping trip, that's so fun! how big a fish are you expecting to catch? and you know, if you feel uneasy about not exercising, you can always swim laps haha.

anyways, enjoy yourself.

Well, vacation is over. I had a pretty good time other than we worked around the camp for most of the time. I only got to go fishing once. We cut, hauled, and stacked wood for the winter two out of the 4 days. It was nice to see my family though. I feel better when I get to spend time with them. It kind of takes me back if you know what I mean.

I did not work out or diet while I was gone. I didn't go crazy but kind of ate small portions of what I wanted to and drank lots of beer. But I did not gain any weight. That was a good thing. It must have been all of the working. I ran last night and today is the upper body. I am glad to be working out again. I know that a small break won't kill me but I have had problems getting back into my routine in the past. Every time I go on a vacation I never really got back to the program and ended up gaining back my weight. Something I have to work on.

I missed my post yesterday. I ran two miles yesterday and got all of my meals. I am currently at 215 and did not lose any weight this week. I did not work out over my vacation and indulged a bit, lazagna, beer, bacon and eggs, all in moderation, but still not part of the program. It is so hard getting back into the routine after taking time off. Almost harder than getting started in the first place. But I made it back. Tonight is upper body night. I am looking forward to it again. I hope that I can still do the routine. I will try it and see if I can hit the numbers that I was. Keep on keeping on as they say.

Great job on getting back to your routine. I am having the same problem after my vacation. Have a great weekend!
