Diet drink are fiiiiiiine, don't worry about them. Its when your drinking sugary ones you have to worry. Theres 10 teaspoons of sugar in a can of coke eeeeek, now that can really fuck your diet up! I've been drinking black coffee recently to cut out the milk calories as I drink so much of it. I don't really like it black, hopefully I'll get used to it soon tho.
 
Thank you!! I appreciate the support. I normally don't care for burgers a lot. I'm not a big meat eater in general. I like it, but its just not what usually comes to mind. However, when I saw a hamburger stand I was like man I haven't had a Checker's burger in forever! Oh well. lol I'll have one again one day, but even if I was at my final goal weight and had a metabolism of an olympic athelete those things are still way bad for my body.

I am not worried about those 10 calories. I did brush it off. What I think is kinda bs though is the fda being ok with advertizing 0 calories when it has 2-3. I guess I have a scientific mind and 0 is not 2-3 and while it might be insignificant I still want to know! Grrr!

Finally finished my spreadsheet and went shopping this morning. For those that are curious I uploaded a screenshot of it. I do it in excel and when I copy and paste the formatting gets all screwed up. I don't mind sharing though. If you want to private message me your email address I'll send you the spreadsheet.

I use cooking spray.

Yes, thank you, Sunflower. It keeps me from counting calories all the time and until I get used to portions and proper eating I need a guide line. Plus I hate going to the grocery store so this way I can get it done all at once.

It does take a bit of time, but the breakfast and lunches are pretty much repeats of what I had the day before. The thing that changes the most are my dinners.
The main reason why my other meals stay somewhat static is that I when I buy packages of something I really hate being wasteful so I make sure I use it before the expiration date.
I imagine after a few weeks I'll be able to just cut and paste a lot.
Imo its totally worth it.


So I just got back from applebees. I ate a shrimp and spinach garnished with pineapple chunksl with a glass of water for 310 calories. :) It was so freaking good!

I think what I am finding this go around is that I can eat plenty and stay within my limits! I think I failed previously because I wanted to keep eating how I had always been eating and tried to eat less of it. Thus, I would never get full and I would sit there fighting my urge to eat. I still have been thinking about those naughty deserts, but the though passes and I get involved in other things. I still have a snack to eat tonight. A nummy snack and some milk.

i was just reading your 'about me' bit on your profiley thingy and OH! MY! GOSH! how busy must you be?! it's crazy how well you're doing! keep it up lovely! :D *admiration for ashy*
 
Well done on eating out so well!

I wish i could make a meal plan for the week and stick to it, I've tried many times, but it just doesn't work for me! Its a lot simpler sitting down for an hour or so a week than working it out than every day.

Thanks, Rainbow. It certainly doesn't work for everyone. It's no secret that I am a planner. I plan what I can. I like to stay "organizized" (Taxi Driver).

I lost a half pound. Yay :) I was hungry a bit before I fell asleep, but it wasn't anything I couldn't deal with. I just watched a little bit of tv and fell asleep.

It's official. I made it through my first week of real dieting! And I have had more energy and have been very happy the entire time just knowing that I am taking control of my situation. It definitely builds confidence.

Well my hanbag is ALWAYS full with EVERYTHING and my car most of the time is so messy im ebaressed when i get a red light next to a bus or truck...really i am!!!

The microwaved apple was out of this world! I love apple pies. Eeven the cheap ones you by on the go.

and a button that says Defrost.Low.Medium.Medium high.High

You microwave it on high for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Then flip the apple pieces over and microwave for an additional 30 seconds.

Enjoy!
 
Well, had a great day. I stuck to my diet. Nothing new really to report. Screwed up on my damn veggies tonight though. I didn't cook the peppers right. Oh well. At least the salmon was good.
About to have my last snack for the evening and then its gaming time.
