Arms

I have been working out for a couple years now. I just measured my arms this morning and they have grown about half an inch. My arms have no fat on them, if they get bigger, like bigger muscle, is this okay?

Well, Im not sure. Is this normal? I thought the more you worked out your arms, the more toned, smaller they would get. Is this not true?

Nope, that's not true. The more you work out your arms, the more you build muscle, the LARGER they get. You cannot spot reduce fat. To lose fat you must lose it from all over your body-genetics decides where you lose it from first.

They will get more compact and less jiggly but they'll still increase in overall mass if you're lifting heavy weights. They can only get so big though if you're a woman (unless you take drugs). If they don't have any fat on them though, you're doing good!

You have to remember that diet plays an extremely important role in training. Training alone will usually not yield the desired results your looking for, depending on genetics.

kriztinj,
I hope you're being facetious because you need to eat a lot more than lettuce. What is your diet like? Do you need help with that?
