Arms, Shoulders,Abs

Is there exercises that i could tone up this parts without the gym ?
i am 15, and i thought it would be a great time to start. I have dumbbells at home.

A variety of pushups will strengthen your arms and shoulders. Do a search for bodyweight exercises and you'll find a bunch. You can get really strong doing a ton of hindu pushups (technique first, volume second), but mix it up to keep your body guessing.

For abs same thing, there are a bunch of core exercises (don't just do crunches) you can do without equipment. I just finished making a medicine ball that's great for your core. Buy a cheap basketball - start with a small one (got one for $5), and a bag of sand ($6). Cut |_ shape into ball, pour in sand, seal with glue and duct tape. A full-size basketball ended up being about 25lbs, which is a lot to start with, so a smaller ball will be better. Excellent "equipment" for almost no money.

Just some ideas. Also start doing some research on proper diet. To change your body you need to change what you're putting in it. Spend some time learning about this stuff, then decide what's best for you.

why you limit yourself to arms and abs? I know lots of people who made mistake to workout only some of their muscles and now they experience injuiries.

My advice is to workout entire body. You need balance. Can you imagine how will feel your legs for example? You workout your arms, they become stronger and your legs stay untrained.

Or you workout your abs, your front body becomes stronger and you have weak back muscles.

I know that when you are on age of 15 you know exactly how you want to look, and you follow your dream :) which is good. Use your enthusiasm to create healthy and harmonious body.

if you want to tone up the areas you need to look at your diet and think about adding cardio workouts along with a good weight training program
 
Hi, thanks to your replies ! been very informative !

Ive been doing leg exercises also. I dont really want really muscular arms or smth, i just want to tone myself up since i am quite skinny and all.

Cardio wont be a problem cos i have quite a number of soccer and netball trainings that have cardio in them. I wouldnt think of doing weight training for my body though .
