Are these ok to eat and drink

This is the opposite of what I said. I said not to be picky. Also, I view eating as something to be enjoyed, not just a biological function.

That's what I said to not be picky and eat the stuff that is good for you rather than thinking "Oh well I don't really like veggies that much". They are important so just do it :D

I wasn't telling the original poster that they CAN be picky, but was agreeing with you that he should NOT be a picky eater otherwise he will find it hard.

Also by processed I mean such as pre-packed turkey and chicken slices for example, as opposed to a fresh chicken which has been killed, cooked and then carved. I have always just known that as "processed" meat. If there is an actual name for it let me know so I can use the right term in the future. I am not arguing here but if there is a proper term for this please tell me and I can use it properly.

No, that would be processed meat. However, most of us don't kill our own meat, and even cooking is a form of processing.

Everything that is not in its natural, living, or organic form, and so on (please don't bring up the carbon molecule fact) can be considered "processed".

Do I have to watch my portion sizes as well?

Tonight after training I had spaghetti Bolognese. Is this ok to eat?

I have been drinking water. Is it ok to drink say squash?

Thanks for all the comments so far

Okay I see what you were saying is that cheese and many other foods are always processed. I don't know the proper term for it but I personally doubt "cheese slices" you can buy in supermarkets or the cheese used by McDonalds and Subway is made in the same way as a block of cheese you can buy. I could be wrong but they don't even taste the same as each other. What would be the way to differentiate between these cheeses?

I don't kill my own meat but most of it comes from Farm shops in Cheshire as opposed to supermarkets when possible so they are fresh from the farm. Its good at christmas because you can choose your own turkey before in advance whilst it is still alive.
Okay some people may not like that idea, especially vegitarians, but chickens and turkeys are for eating imo!

Right today for lunch I had had the following.

4 x Turkey Sandwiches on Brown bread with a glass of milk
A Bannana and a Apple.

( I use to have McDonalds or Burger King Before lol )

Also all day i have been drinking water instead of coke zero.

Is this all ok?

I need to work on getting veggis into my diet next :D

What is a brown bread? Is it whole wheat? Or some kind of weird thing that's brown?

4x Turkey sandwiches mean.... 4 different sandwiches? Like you have 6 breads, and you make 4 turkey sandwiches? If that's what you meant, then no, that wasn't a good choice.

And milk... what kind of milk? Like 2%... or that other thing? Drinking a lot of milk is pretty bad throughout the day. If it's just one cup, that's fine.

A banana and apple is all right... but you need veggies.

Gee thanks scientist, I was simply trying to differentiate between say velveeta and a decent block cheese from the supermarket.

Har har you think decent cheese can be had at a supermarket.

Although you probably think you are giving us a lot of information, you aren't. First, we have no idea what "brown bread" is, or what it's nutritional information is. Also, how much turkey meat is contained in each sandwich? Any condiments? Four sandwiches for lunch seems excessive.

People here are happy to help you, but you need to give detailed information. I suggest writing down everything that passes your lips, including the amount and nutritional information. The more information you can provide, the better the advice you will receive.

I think people's patience will soon be expired if you make a post asking about every meal you eat. Instead, why don't you learn about basic nutrition. That way, you can apply the knowledge yourself.

Well going on that site, it measures your current fitness level with your BMR.

Maintenance means that if you eat around 2400 cals per day, your weight will remain the same. Fat loss means if you eat around 2000 cals per day, you will see about 1-2 pounds of loss per week. And the extremem is like 3-4 pounds per week, although not recommended.

Remember, there's good cals and bad cals. You want to be eating meat, and you want to be eating plenty of fruits and veggies.

Instead of eating paste for the night, you could have had a salmon or something better.

I am posting more info as you asked Tanizaki

Right, and that is very helpful. However, instead of asking us every time you eat, it would be better if you asked more general questions about nutrition, and you could apply that knowledge yourself to the food you choose. It's the difference between giving a man a fish and teaching him to fish.
