Anyone try 20-Rep Squats?

Has anyone actually tried this program for bulking? If you've never heard of it, type 20-Rep Squat into Google. It sounds really, really intense. I find it hard to imagine doing this program 3x a week as it's recommended. I remember doing squats for sets of 6-12 reps a while ago and it left my quads aching for days afterwards. Walking down a flight of stairs was nearly impossible 1-3 days after a heavy squat workout. I wonder if maybe only twice a week is better to allow for maximum recuperation? What do you guys think? Any personal experiences?
 
I have never done the whole 20 reps squat program. I do work 20 reps squats into my program. I think it is a very effective thing to do.

I know a few guys who have done about half the program and had great results. (one of them gained 15lbs and got leaner)

It is definitely worth doing. If nothing else you will really learn how to push yourself. Which is the most important part of training.
