Prefix for Cohen's Lifestyle
Thanks Kathy,
I added the link to my favorites, I'll check it out. You are doing awesome, great job!

Where is everyone!!! Did you all go to the excoboard site? I find it soooo busy over there. Everyone seems nice but all those flashing icons and large quotes. Is anyone coming back?

Hey Lam,

How are you doing? Congrats on 10.8 lbs lost!! I'm here, I check in on both boards as I find they each have things to offer and everyone is nice on each board.

Have to go eat my medium egg now! Have a great day! :)

Hi Kathy,

I hope all is well. I have been checking out both boards and I love the recipe section on the other one. Everyone seems nice but I was wondering Do you think people will still use this board? I'll try to get used to the other one.

I think some people check out both boards. I think the exco board is very active for those of us from the US because about 95% of us receive internet support, where on this board the majority have access to the clinics. We do have a few who go to clinics on the other board, too, and that ends up to be helpful for us as well. That board was created, not because of this board and trying to exclude ourselves, but because when people found the ediets board, it wasn't user friendly, so someone created that board and it just took off from there. I like this one, too, because there are more people who have been on longer and you get to read all about their successes and advice. The other board has grown though and is hard to keep up w/all the posts!!! I kind of sit on the sidelines and read everything, though, and only post occassionaly.

How are u finding the diet so far?? I'm in 15.5 weeks and hoping to hit the 60lb loss tomorrow!! Cross your fingers for me! :)

Kathy,
Sorry I don't know what I did, let's try this again.
60 lbs. in 15 weeks is incredible. You must be sooo proud of yourself. What is your goal? Everyone you know must be in awe of your strength and determination. My fingers are crossed, but you don't need that, you are doing wonderful. I applaud you!
I started week three this past Monday but I lost 8 lbs the first week and since have slowed down dramaticly, I am probably at around 11 lbs. I am hoping I didn't lose much because of my period and will see more results by next Monday. I have not cheated at all, so I am doing well. Overall, I am happy with the results so far. My pants are definitely looser. I will talk to you soon.

Lam,

I had a similar experience-- lost 10 pounds the first week, but the weight loss almost came to a standstill (ounces daily instead of pounds) the week before and the week of my period. I was scared! Now that my period is over, the weight loss has kicked up and I'm on target to lose 20 pounds by the end of my fourth full week (Friday). I bet that'll happen for you too! Darn periods!

Thanks Lam! I didn't hit the 60lb mark this morning, but am hoping for tomorrow. I'm not letting it bring me down as I'm still focused on my goal. In total, I have about 110 lbs to lose, so I'm more than half way there. I can't believe I've lost this much weight after all of the diets, I've usually never gotten past 25 lbs!!! It is amazing.

11lbs is awesome, or as we'd say in Mass - WICKED AWESOME!! Be proud, you deserve it! I have not cheated at all which amazes me more than the actual weight loss! Stay strong - you can do it!! The loss does slow down, but as long as it keeps going down, you're fine!

BabyFatNoMore - congrats on 19lbs, I'm sure you'll hit the 20 for your goal! Good Luck!

Misty,
excellent job with the 19 (20) lb loss. Thanks for the weight loss info, I was hoping it was because of my period.
Kathy, You are doing great...half way to your goal! That is inspiring!
Easyelvis, How are you doing! I hope all is well.
Kelly, I know what you mean about looking in the mirror and seeing a smaller you. I never think I look as big as I am until the pictures come out. hen I am mortified, my cousin is very heavy and I love how she refers to herself...she's not fat...she's fluffy. She has a great attitude.

Hi kathy,

I applaud you too..60 pounds is fantastic..thats 27 kilos...WOW. yes, I agree the diet is amazing and so easy when you are in the zone and really focussed. Over the half way mark..congratulations.

Hi Lam and BFNM

You two ladies have also started off during really great. I found that my weight loss slowed down in weeks 2-4. I just moved things around. I was overdosing on mozzarella and had it three times a week, I stopped having it and weight loss was more rapid. Changed my breakfasts around, ate my crackers with meals only not as snacks. Just test a few things around and see if the scales move faster.

Keep it up ladies, you are an inspiration!

Hello Everyone,
How are you all doing? Anything new going on? I had a crazy day and will be bringing my daughter to dance soon, but I wanted to say hello. I will be checking in later tonight.

Hi Annie,

Thanks for the congrats, but I think I hit a plateau. I'm just on the doorstep of 60 lbs, but can't get all the way thru!!! 18.5kg (40 lbs) for you is awesome! Keep up the great work!

Hey Lam,

I'm not loving this heat today! How about you? I'm going to get my chicken soup soon and water for dinner. Have fun at dance class w/your daughter!

Annie and Kathy, you are both doing so well. Seeing your success keeps me motivated, so keep posting!

Annie, you mentioned that having cheese three times a week slowed you down. I've been having it once a day, everyday! Maybe I should cut that out. I'm happy with the weight loss so far, but I'm all for speeding it up even more!

Lori, kids sure keep you moving, don't they?! Mine have swimming lessons everyday. Seems like our life revolves around swimming-- either getting ready to go, swimming, or getting unpacked. No wonder I can't remember to eat lately...

Thanks Kathy and Misty :)

Misty, my program only allows me to have Cheese 3 days a week and fetta only once a week. I know that other people's programs allow cheese everyday, goes to show that the programs are different. ( I was a bit sceptical at first) anyway I only have cheese once a week now and I have ricotta instead, i found that the mozarella was too high in fat and 3 days of all that extra fat was way too much for me, once I stopped having it my weigh loss was more rapid. I miss it as I loved making pizza with the crackers and vegies. (oh wel) I know everyone is different, this worked for me, like I said change a few things around and see if your weight changes. Just a thought!

Hope you ladies have a great weekend

Annie Lusion

Oh and I forgot to mention..I'ts Mothers Day here in Aus on Sunday, not sure if it is in States as well ...If so, Happy Mothers Day to you all !
Annie Lusion

Hello all,
Annie, what do you eat your ricotta with, I can't come up with and ideas for it. I don't want to eat to much Mozzarella and I don't like cottage cheese.
Kathy, I like the heat because I hate being cold, I think a Sunny 75* with a gentle breeze is my favorite kind of day. :D
Misty, how is everything going with you? I started about 10 after you, and was wondering how your feeling? my pants are looser. Yippee!
Happy Mothers Day!

Hello everyone! Yes, it's Mother's Day here, too. Happy Mother's Day to all you (soon to be) skinny mamas!!!

Lori, I'm feeling pretty good. No longer hungry between meals. When I do feel hungry, it just means I've forgotten to eat. My cravings are pretty much gone, too. And yes, my pants are getting looser too. YAY!!!! I was actually able to button a pair of pants that haven't fit in years. That felt great.

Thanks for the cheese info, Annie. I've been eating mozarella everyday. You're right-- it is kinda heavy. I'll have to think about skipping it a few days a week. I'm also allowed feta once a week, but I've only had it once so far. Don't have a clue what to do w/ ricotta. I'm allowed fat free cream cheese, but I didn't really like the taste when I tried it.
