Anybody watching 'worlds strongest man' ??

Im now confused, i just couldnt help myself and looked at results on wikipedia, it says marious 1st (which i predicted) and Hollands 3rd, thought you said Felix beat Hollands? It doesnt mention Felix at all.

Where did you look?

Nah, Felix beat Hollands in the DL. It looks like Hollands performed at his obsolute best in some of the other events though; like he did the Atlas stones in under 20 seconds

Ohh ok, wow thats fast under 20. Well thats good for him really, he was hoping for a podium spot so thats alllll good. :)

Im actually verrry interested in power lifting, id love to be able to lift some big weights.

Terry Hollands rules!!!

Lol, he needs to lose a bit of fat though if he ever wants to be WSM champion, he always gets tired too easily because of those rolls of fat

Watching that show has made me realise that I need to be at least 325lbs before I can think about matching their strength

and a bag full of steroids:newangel:

I wish Steroids werent around, people who are on em feel so confident and think they are more than they actually are. Pisses me off man!

It just takes away the hard work etc out of it all. Your diet doesnt necessarly have to be good to get nice results from steroids, also they can do all kinds of **** to your body.

Is anyone on this forum actually on them?

Nah, as if anyone on here would use them

Lol, steroids aren't a magic mass building agent, you'd still need to train bloody hard.
I bet that at least half the steroid users on here are skinny kids who think they'll get huge by injecting and doing bicep curls

Lol yea, i know that, still requires hard work, but its just simply youll see results quicker.

I think its funny when you see people in they gym, curling all night etc.
This guy come in once and he was in a vest and the first thing he did was start curling. He must of been doing it at least half hour, then he was tensing up thinking he was big, when he was skinny as ****. I just laugh at **** like that.

I actually did curling in the squat rack a few weeks ago, hehe, i know not many people agree with it...i dont! but there was nowhere else to do it!

LMAO, then just don't do them at all!!

Curling in the squat rack is simply wrong and there can be no excuse for it

LMAO, who are you really??

But just on the off chance you're really him, what did you disagree with in the thread, me and BigTom are fans of yours so please enlighten us

No I really am!!

Feel free to message me and ask any questions to prove it!!

Just so you know though!! It has always been the speed events I have done well in and my "rolls of fat" have never slowed me down!!

Who knows, it might be him, I read an interview he gave where he said he went on forums a bit, so maybe it is?

If it is you Terry then sorry about the 'rolls of fat' comment, it wasn't meant to be offencive, I'm a huge fan of yours. I just think you're bf% is higher than it needs to be and it works against you

Can I just ask you here instead, your answers might prove helpful to others.

I heard you got a shoulder injury playing rugby which affecting your OH pressing. What was the injury? How did you treat it? And does it still affect you?

CCR....dont tell me you actually think its him. Noway will i believe its him. Its someone messing about.

So what if it is? I'm a fan of his so if it's someone pissing about it'll obvious pretty quickly but as I said, I heard it from the man himself that he does visit forums to exchange training ideas

I just hope for f*cks sake he doesn't mention protein intake :yelrotflmao:

It does still affect me but it has improved over time!! I disslocated my shoulder in a rugby match in 2004. I still have some slight damage to my bicep tendon because of it also.

My BF doesn't hinder my performance because I still move very quickly and it also helps on truck pull sled drags. Especially not at WSM where it is not a oneday contest like other events, those only last 2 hours!!
