any advice would be great

i'm seriously going to sort myself out, health wise, first off i'm packing in the cigs and improving my diet. I'm a biggish bloke and broad shouldered but my belly needs sorting. Because the cigs are going i'm bothered about banging the weight on even more so i want to get rid of the belly. Basically any dietry, excersise or other advice would be most welcome. I havn't got the time to go to the gym so home excersise is what i'm looking at and maybe a trip to the swimming baths once a fortnight.

I'm not a pro, but I can offer you a few things to start you off:

1. Be patient - it's takes time, lots of time - if you're in it for the short game it won't work

2. You have to be willing to make changes in your lifestyle -

...for me it includes not eating meals before going to bed, making sure I eat throughout the day, drinking plenty of water and making sure I eat the right things...

3. Be committed - this has to be important enough to you in order to be patient and make the lifestyle changes.

4. Find some motivation - this may changes from one thing to another -

...I started with seeing changes, went to reading mags, talking to other people doing the same stuff... it changes,
