So this is my Diary. i started about 31/12/12. I weighed in at a pretty hefty 280lbs, at 5'10 this gives me a bmi of around 40. Which is obviously far too high.
My goal is to get from 280 to 180 hopefully by xmas 2013. However if this doesn't happen i will not be overly disheartend as long as i have made significant inroads to the weight loss.

As for how i would do it, simple really, eat clean, eat healthy and train hard. I have trained on and off since i was 15 (im 23 now) however i never really bothered with the diet aspect of it, could never get it down. However my whole family is in on it now. So there are 4 of us who will be egging each other on.

I have already got recipes together for some really nice meals.

As for working out i will be training at my work gym at least 3 times a week, and going for a 2 mile walk 5 times a week.

I have worked out i should be eating around 1800 cals a day with not much exercise. So just need to work out how many more calories i should be having.

I should be updating this everyweek with hopefully weights, measurements and Pictures for me and you to see where im up too.

Anthony, I'm also 23 and am currently running on an 1800 calorie plan as well. I lost 51 pounds in about 120 days so your goal of 100 by the end of the year is very feasible. I'd be glad to answer any questions you may have, but it sounds like you have everything under control! Can't wait to see the progress you make.

Well had my first session back in the gym, i loved it but gotta say im sore today. Haha. Anyway so far i have lost 6 pounds this week so far. Got til monday to get my weekly total.
 
So 1 week in 6 pounds off and down to 274lbs. Had a really good week.
Using the gym in the morning before work, which really kicks my day off. I think i have some room to improve in my diet. Could probably use more calories at breakfast and less at tea time. (Dinner). Although pretty much everyday i have been under my calorie allowance.

Hopefully get some measurements up tomorrow. And maybe even a picture.
 
Well, good times. Passed through the half stone barrier today. So thats 8lb lost so far. Down to 272lbs.

This was me at my halloween party. It's about the size i am now. Black is more slimming than i thought.
 
Happy days 10lb lost so far so proper happy with that in less than 2 weeks. Im at a christening on sunday so that will be my treat. Il be drinking gin though instead of the usual 15 pints of lager.
 
So weighed my self this morning,and after yesterday (beer filled mayhem) i was ready to have put all the weight back on, however i woke to found i had only put 1lb on so i can live with that. Ahhhh well i'v got no social appointments for a couple of weeks so can get my head down and properly focus on losing the pounds.
