Another HIT ?

I know there has been some talk on here b4 about HIT but I've never really thought about trying it until now. I've been "split" training for a while now and I think I've hit a plateau. I was just wondering how many of you do a total body workout each session. And also, do any of you do HIT? (One set to failure)? Some say this is the best way to gain muscle but it's just hard to believe. I've been doing about 3 sets to failure and it just seems hard to figure how one set will suffice. But I'm willing to switch it up depending on your replies.

Oh yea, my goals are only to gain muscle mass. Not worried about weight loss. thanks

Try changing up your program. your body eventually adapts to the same thing over and over again and you will hit a spot where you just stop growing. I havent heard of one set to failure training, but one rep to failure I have. Static training if you will. when lifting say bench press for example do you normal sets and on your last rep of your last set hold the weight in a contracted position untill failure. The way they word it is that your body looks at it like an emergency situation and it recruites every available muscle fiber to push through it. resulting in great gains. Just one idea. but here is a link to program I recently started. its really pushing me over the top I think it works great wouldnt be a bad idea to try it out for yourself

i have seen great visual results with static training! i definatly reccomend it to anyone who is not a noob! alone it doesn't do much, but if combined with a mass building routine it will do wonders

I like x-reps, they helped me break a plateau acouple of months ago.

Hey 96, do you have anything done to your lt1? I just got a 93 formula a month ago and I've owned acouple different f-bodies before that. 82z,91z,00firebird,93formula

Actually, I had a z28 but got rid of it for a new truck a while back :( (love the truck tho) Didn't have a whole lot done to it. Ram air hood, underdrive pulleys, MSD, headers, flowmaster, and 125 shot nitrous :D
It was pretty quick. Ran low 8's in the 1/8th mile on street tires.
Now I have something way faster. As you can see in my pic. Its love!!!
