Argh!!! Still struggeling - I need some motivation, please!
I weighed in today and have put on 2 lbs.... I know I have been eating too much, but I also feel rather bloated and i think I put on a couple of pounds exactly 4 weeks ago, so I am hoping that is is just my normal cycle and that it will come off next week. So I am not updating my tracker as this weight is temporary and will come off by next weight in! So there!
Going to see my mum in Norway for 10 days. I know she will put lots of food, cake etc in front of me so I need an action plan to survive. She does have a stationary bike, so I will try to use it for 30 minutes each day when she is at work. Then weekends we are going to take the kids skiing and sledging, so I will try to be extra active with that and burn off some extra calories. I cannot refuse everything mum offers me to eat, but I shall try to stick to one modest serving of each thing rather than going back for more. THat will be hard though - this is mum's home cooking we are talking about here!
I have just been to the gym for 10 minutes on the cross trainer, 35 minutes on the treadmill, weights - and then SPA/sauna, of course - so I hope that will have started me off in the right direction.
Still have a couple of days before we leave, so will try to undo those pounds I put up before then, so I can at least be back at square one when we go.
