Ana,

Sorry to hear about the break in. I hope insurance covers it.

GREAT GOING with the weight loss!! You have been really disciplined and so good about your diet. So thrilled for you.

Been so quiet here in the forums. Where's everyone?

Later!!

THanks Tamwalt, I know I'll reach my first goal soon (to be under 90kg) but I'll need to remain strong on the full journey.

I will be on holiday for most of December and was discussing my strategy with steve (my honey) to make sure I maintain. I really don't want to go up again on the scales. He's right with me, and said he'll help me with not buying crap food etc. (I'm a shocker for snacking in the car on holiday, so we're going to have fruit and water in the car, not chips and candy!).

I'm also going to jog every day that we're not out on a boat!

It's going to be FUN!

Really like your positive attitude, Ana. And it so nice that your husband is so supportive of this.

Ooooh the vacation sounds nice. Where will you be going?

How's work etc? N how's c25k? tomorrow is my W3D2- really looking forward to it. :)

Hey Ana,
Way to plan ahead and think about how to maintain during holidays!! You are one step ahead and therefore we know you will be successful! Good motivation up until then too! Holidays are so fun! I can't wait to go on our honeymoon and it's over a year away!
Keep it up and before we know it your ticker will be in the 80's!

Hey Ana! Great to hear that your husband is supporting your healthy eating lifestyle!
It makes things so much easier when those around us arent trying to sabbotage our efforts eh?!

Great to hear your on week 3 of c35k!!! great work!!

sorry to hear about your break in though :( must be frustrating as hell

I think congrats are in order? I saw your update on the Halloween challenge! Way to go! That's so exciting! Don't celebrate too much this weekend ;) I'll check back with you Tuesday to see how you made out. Have a great weekend!:waving::cheers2:

Well, I did celebrate a bit, but I'm back into the swing again this week.

I just realised I've been spending my time in other people's diaries and not my own... oops. Don't want to mess with the weight loss chemistry so I'd better get writing.:gnorsi:

I've got a really big week at work this week. (doing office hours plus some.... eek). i've planned my exercise and eating shouldn't be a problem as long as I take food to work with me.

Today I got up at 6 and went to a pump class and then took the dog for a walk/run. W4 D1 C25k.... it was hard! I'm going to have another go tommorrow. I went to yoga tonight. Tommorrow I'll take things a little easier and just walk/run the dog before work ( a sleep in til 7 yay) and then I'll try to do somthing after work as well.

I'm still eating between 1800 and 2000 cals and that seems to be going ok as long as I exercise.

anyways I need to sleep... good night all

Ana

Thanks Juni,

Well my week has been a bit rubbish to be honest. I was really busy at work and let the exercise go a bit, and I got a really sore throat (and I was teaching a course so had to talk all wekk ouch), and today I had to be at work at 5:45 am and I'm tired ..... what a whiner.

I haven't eaten all that well and I've been cheating a bit on the calorie couting (I know I'm only cheating myself but I still delude myself that a little bit extra won't matter).

Yesterday I got strict with the food log and I'm going to focus on that as a goal for the week. It seems to be at the root of my succesful weight loss weeks so I need to get back to basics. I think I need to focus on how far I've come and what the next goal will be. I'm so close to my first goal of being under 90kg I think I need to start focusing on my next goal.

I think I'll have a read back through my journal and reset my goal!....

Back soon

Ana

Hello Anna, first time in. I noticed you around with a couple friend's diaries, figured I'd come on by. :waving:

I'll catch up on the details as soon as I have time to read up. For now, have a good weekend!

Ana im like that too!!! two days ago i had a group meeting and one of the girls brought home made cookies....They looked sooo soft and good so i had two thinking....its only a bit it wont make a difference, and they were small so its okay. but then two days before that id had a huge muffin and the day before that a LARGE choc chip cookie....

needless to say there has been a difference-and not a good one :(

you're attitude is in the right place though and its motivating me to get serious! i will look through my journal too and get focused...

we're going to work through this!

Hey everyone,

Thanks for popping in.... I'm having real trouble with my motivation. I talk a good talk, but I aint been doing what I plan! aaargh some days it seems difficult.

So

my new goal is to get below 88kg by Dec1. Thats 3 kg in 6 weeks. I'll have to push the exercise to achieve it and exercising really works for me.

This week I'm not so busy at work so I'll take advantage by:

1. yoga every day.... its good for my neck and stops me overeating
2. c25k 3 times Mon Wed and Fri
3. pump class at the gym Mon and Fri

I'm going to honestly track my cals and see exactly what I'm eating!

By Friday I'll make a plan for the weekend.

By Sunday I'll make a plan for next week!

Good luck to me

So I've been to yoga today and eaten ok. I didn't run because I've had a sore glute... hoping it'll be ok for running tomorrow...

bored tired sigh

Hey Ana,:waving:
Don't stress about the week of not being strict with the diet - maybe you just needed a little break, that happens so don't get discouraged. I see you are back on track this week so focus on that and it will all work out! Keep the exercise up and the rest will fall into place. Good luck tracking the calories this week and I'll be checking on you! Keep it up!

Thanks CG,

I've been strict with the food tracking for a couple of days, and thats making me make better choices I think. I'd got into the habit of having sweet treat food type stuff, but I'm trying to go back to fruit and veges and protein.

I made up a crockpot of lentil and chicken soup and have frozen it into single serves to take to work etc. Its really yummy and low cal.

I'm just planning today's exercise and I'm wavering between a spin class or a pump class or just using the machines. I'll decide soon. I'll be going to yoga after so that'll be nice.

I had a nice morning because I found this cute little cat that some people up the road had lost. I rang them and they came and picked him (the cat) up, they were so happy, they though he'd probably been run over.

Anyways

catch ya all later

Ana

The soup sounds tasty. I like lentils, good way to get some protein and fiber in a veggie type form. Taste good too.

BTW, that sounds like walking the walk, not just taliking the talk.
