Ankle weights through the day

Hey, i was considering putting on light ankle weights (1 pound or so) and just going through my day with them. is this safe/a good idea?
 
ermm why??? what are you hoping to achieve by this??
 
ive heard that its not good. you can use them while exersicing, like kickboxing and stuff. but wearing them the whole day can put alot of stress on your joints and cause injury.

This is just something i have heard, i think it was here on the forum too
 
Not sure if it would do that much good. Also be careful about using higher weight ankle weights during exercise because it does put a lot of pressure on joints.
 
ive dun it there anoying and dont really change things a whole lot!!
