I've decided to start this journal to keep accountable. I have two boys, my oldest is 3 and my youngest is 14 months. They are busy busy busy. I get too tired, too fast. Summer is coming up and my oldest is a wild boy outside, he never stops. I want to be able to keep up with him.

I also want to be a slim toned sexy mom. I want to be the mom that goes to school and my boys friends go :eek:. :rolleyes: kidding kidding, but I do want to feel sexy for the first time ever.

I will update my exercise and food journal daily. :)
 
Look forward to following your journey. Remember, that's just it... this is a journey. It is supposed to be fun along the way. Too many people treat like a destination, and that leads to pitfalls.

AWW OUR KIDS ARE ABOUT THE SAME AGE, I HAVE A 3 YEAR OLD AND A 1 YEAR OLD, AND THEYRE CRAZY BUSY TOO SO I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN TOO WELL, I WANT TO BE THAT SEXY MOM TOO, I WANT PEOPLE TO SAY "WOW YOU HAD TWO KIDS AND LOOK THAT GOOD" GOOD LUCK YOU CAN DO IT!!
 
Breakfast:
1/2 cup fibre first cereal with 1/2 cup skim milk
2 chicken sausages
1 apple
calories: 393

Snack:
1/3 Halvah Sesame bar
calories: 140

Lunch:
15 baby carrot sticks
1/4 cup sour cream with 1 tsp onion soup mix
2 slices bread, 3 slices cheese, butter flavoured pam spray (grilled cheese sandwich)
calories: 600 (OOPS!, have to sub my grilled cheese sandwich for a big salad or bowl of soup!)

Exercise: 55 minute workout. The Firm Body Sculpt + abs

Snack:
1 cup non fat plain yogurt
1 tbsp low sugar raspberry jam
calories: 162

Dinner:
Subway 6" sandwich. Whole wheat bread, roasted chicken breast, lettuce, pickles, caesar dressing.
1 double chocolate cookie
1 low fat sugar free latte
calories: 673 (Damn I should plug my food into fitday more often! The cookie was 210 calories alone! EEK!)

Thanks for the reminder & good luck with your journey. Hopefully we can watch our progress together as we shrink into the bodies we want & gain the energy we need to do whatevery we want when we want. :)

I know what you mean about wanting to be the sexy mum. But I am on this journey to make myself happy more than anyone around me and its working already.

Hey! Good luck on your journey. I'm not a mom myself (dying to become one, but hey :() but I love reading about mom's on their journey.

Your 673 calorie dinner really isn't terrible. Don't get yourself down. Next time, "save" the cookie for last. By the time you get there, re-evaluate if you want it or not. If you still really wanna eat it... do it. If you deny yourself constantly you'll end up eating 10 cookies a day, and that's no good. If you're eating 1 cookie a day and that's the only "bad" choice you make, you're doing amazing.

Eventually, you'll be too full for that cookie anyway. ;P When you get down to size, let me know. I'll buy this for you:
