Angela's losin it! =)

Since that last pic of me (in the white cowboy hat) I have gained back some of my weight - but not nearly as high as I was!!! I'm working on getting it back off (and then some!) I wanted to share some of my wedding pics (because this is my thread and I can! :p) My wedding was in August and I weighed in around 223ish :puke:.

This is amazing Angela

Would it bother you if I asked you to enlighten me as to how you were able to go through such a change? I find learning from other peoples experiences makes for very good inspiration.......

I need to make some changes with myself.... desperately. :willy_nilly:

Obviously, with my yo-yo experiences of late, I don't have all the answers. Everyone finds different things that work for them. Basically, though, it comes down to choosing healthy foods to eat, practicing portion control and making changes in your activity levels. Even making small changes like walking around the block, taking the stairs instead of the elevator and parking at the back of the parking lot can add up. I find as I lose weight I want to move around more. As you hang out on this forum, talk with others about their different experiences. Check out the exercise threads that are dotted throughout this board to find some kind of activity you might like to do. Join a monthly challenge, set yourself some small goals and - most importantly - stick to it. I know that's easier said than done, but it CAN be done. Instead of focusing on the big picture (i.e. OMG I have to lose 50/80/100 pounds!), start out with small goals. Anyone can lose 5 lbs in a month, right? If you haven't already, start a journal on here to record your thoughts, frustrations, triumphs, etc. Making friends here is a good way to go, too, because you can give them motivation when they need it and in turn you will receive it when you need it.

Make a plan and stick with it. You can make the changes you want to make!

Welcome to the board. :)
