Hey all,

Had a pretty good weekend. Saturday was really good. Went to the gym and worked out hard. That night took it easy at a friends house for her birthday. Had a regular lazy fat kid Sunday though. I came home this morning starving, so I gobbled up a fiber bar and went straight back to bed. Woke up a few hours later, and scarfed down some leftover spinich dip and sourdough bread. Went to go play golf with some friends. It was a little too warm outside, but I guess thats why the green fees were so cheap haha. Anyways, after that we got lunch, a cheeseburger and 5 hot wings. So delicious. It made me realize I havent had wings in ages. Anyways, came home, napped had some more dip/bread, and for dinner I ended up pecking at some fish we grilled and a handful of grapes.

So, I guess it wasnt all THAT terrible. I didnt make it to the gym, but I was really tired all day. I havent been able to sleep in this whole weekend. I really just need to toss the rest of that dip and bread. Still, overall my week was really good. Happy to have monday tomorrow - i feel like monday through friday is so much easier to stay on track, because its so structured. Looking forward to getting back into it hard this week.

Lets end MAY TOUGH!

Mmm...spinach dip...mmm wings. Time to drink a bunch of water. Lol

Congrats on your weight loss. How much have you lost in total?

Did you count calories?

What is your basic menu?

How much do you exercise per day?

Yea, it was so very tasty. I enjoyed every last morsal of it too ;) So true though, I used to be so automatic at drinking a whole GALLON of water over a day. Hell, usually id knock it out at work. Now, I literally struggle with 1/2 a gallon daily. Its funny, because I all I used to do at my old job was post on here and drink water. My current job is so damn busy, its hard to find the time to even get up and refill water, or get a coffee or anything. Ah well, I have a few tricks I can do to get my water in - lets make that a June goal shall we?

sounds like an enjoyable weekend, low stress and not completely bad on the food :)

Thanks for stopping by old friend. I actually wanted to run my new circuit by you, see what you thought about it:

15 goblet squats (20lb weight)
15 Elevated pushups on Step Bench (im still a little too weak to do reg pushups)
15 Tricep Kickback (15lb weight)
15 High step on weight bench (20lb in both hands)
15 Bicep curls (20lb weights)
15 Scaption Raises (15lb)

Im sweating a ton by the time im done with it. I feel like im getting a lot of the major muscle groups, but im trying to focus on my core and upper legs.

Thanks for coming by! Ive been on this journey for a little over 2 years now, but so far ive lost about 140 pounds. Im going to finish it before my birthday in August too. MARK MY WORDS!

My basic tenant is to focus on proteins and vegetables. One thing is diet has made me is a predictable eater. I always focus lunch and dinner around a protein source of some kind (chicken/fish/beef). Ive learned its almost impossible to overdue vegetables, so have fun go crazy on greens.

My per day kind of depends. Sometimes ill get in, do my lifts, and only spend 30 minutes in the gym. Sometimes I can get caught up in good games and spend 2-3 hours. As long as you give an honest effort and watch what you eat, the weight is practically forced to come off.

Hey all, its Tuesday. Went grocery shopping and knocked out a bunch of little errands that were really bugging me. Cleaned up my room, washed my car and payed some bills. Funny how much less stressed I feel.

Gym tonight - 7/10 on effort. Played 2 games, got a little sweat in. Got some lifts in - I cant believe how damn crowded my gym is at 10:00 at night. Its just crazy. Maybe ill start playing around with the early crowd again.

Food was really good - proud to say I did good today. I even cooked some food so I have lunch ready for tomorrow (breaks arm patting self on back). Feeling in control, and I want to kick May's ass and finish tough.

I bought a jug that holds 74.4 oz. I fill it up from my filtered water tap at home before I go to work, then drink all night. My coworkers were teasing me about it, but they also told me what a great job I'm doing. :sifone:
There's always a way to get your water! :D

Had a great week. Stayed good on food, and got my lifts in. Hit every goal I was trying to hit without going crazy and bingeing.

Weight after I came home from the gym and ate breakfast was 218. Gotta love being under 220. Next goal is aiming for that 210 by the end of June. Then, we are going to hit 200 before August, which is also my bday month ;)

My buddy and I are going to really focus on June. We want to make this a power workout month. I'm totally excited for it, because having a partner makes everything so much easier to stick to.

One positive thing ive noticed is that even though the weight loss is a lot slower, each couple pounds I lose I can tell in the mirror. I bet these last 20 pounds are going to have a pretty dramatic difference.

200 will be a HUGE milestone for me, dont get me wrong, but I've come to terms that I dont think ill be 100% satisfied there. Im thinking of ending up floating between 175-180. I guess we will see how it is when I get there, even if that project does take me into December.

Hey guys,

I am still around. Came in this morning @ 208.4

Im close - for some reason Im just not as excited as I thought I would be.

Eh, hopefully this month if I really push it.

Andy, where are you? I'm back... after putting 40 pounds back on. :ack2: I'm disappointed in myself, but what can I do but lose it again? Hopefully you are sticking to things better than I did. I could use your butt kicking, so I hope you come back soon.

Hey WLF,

I am back. I am ashamed to admit it, but I have stumbled on my journey and lost my way. I am really hoping I can use this forum as a motivator to get back and on track and finish my journey.

So I am BAACK!

Welcome back.

Many of us stumble. Picking ourselves up and trying again is a really positive step. Well done!

Hey Andy,

I need to come back myself. I've had my 2nd baby (she's 5 and a half months old now) and I just can't seem to find the motivation to get my weight loss started up again. I'm so tired!!! lol

Andy! Welcome back. Don't feel bad about stumbling, many of us do. I did, and gained 45 pounds in the process. Been working at it again since last spring and it's much slower and much harder this time around. :ack2: I've lost about 40 of those now, and am only about 9 pounds away from my main goal. Those 9 pounds should only take about a month and a half to lose, but at my current rate of loss it'll take about 6 months. :banghead:

I haven't been around here much. To be honest, many of the friends I made here last time around aren't here any more and I just haven't gotten to know any of the new people. I still track some of the diaries though, in case people come back.

Hi Andy,
I just spent the last 2 days reading through your entire weight loss journey. Amazing!!! Please give us an update so we can learn from your experience.
Thanks, Red

Hi Andy!

I just resurfaced as well. Need motivation to gain strength, lose that last 5-10 pounds. Hope to see you around here more on the forum.

I'm back up to 345 and 5 years older. Feeling pretty dumb right now.

I'm not even sure I know how to get back into fitness - Im glad I found my old profile though.
