Anand's weight loss regime

Ok, So this is my first day here at WLF. You can check my intro at newcomers section

anyways, for others, I am Anand, 22, from Delhi, India. 6 feet tall and weighing 90kgs. I need to loose 20 kg. :(

Breakfast:

- 1 small banana .

- 1/2 cup tea.

- 1 biscuit.

Lunch:

- 1/2 bowl rice

- 1 Omlette

- 3 spoon red lentilis curry(dal).

Workout (till now):


- 15 mins walk to my neighborhood gym to take admission :D

Hey Anand,
Welcome to the forum. By the looks of it you are eating within calories, however you are a guy ...you shud be eating more. Try incorporate more vegetables/fruits into your diet. :) And your breakfast seems way too small! I wud still be hungry!! :p

Your lunch is great too, rice is SOO GOOD FOR YOUR BODY, I cant emphasize enough. However, try a brown alternative rather than white rice. Eat a whole cup...its only 200 calories. As for lentils/dal, its relly good aswell, but make sure it is not cooked in vegetable oil/unhealthy. I make lentil soup often with vegetables, which I eat as I'm dieting now and going pretty hardcore.

Hey, Thanks for the reply Sanjana.. Actually diary post is incomplete, i had 1chicken burger and 1 samosa with friends. Then had 3 non-oily chapattis and Paneer for dinner. I still regret that. :(

Anyways, Rome wasn't built in a day. I need to increase my exercise level and decrease my calorie intake with each passing day. :)

lets hope for the best.
 
Ok, So today is my second day here. This is what I did all day long.

Morning:

- Noodles.

Afternoon:

- 1/2 bowl rice.

- Cauliflower curry (only 1 serving)

Evening Snack:

- 1 Chicken Sandwich

- 1 Hotdog ( Peer pressure :p )

Dinner:

- 2 Naan's

- Chicken tikka masala (4 pcs) [Last time I am having this. No more "masala" stuff for 2 months]

Workout:

- 30 mins walk

- 40 mins aerobics

That's all I did today. :(

I hope I can exercise more from tomorrow. :(

Ok, So, This is what I did yesterday.

Morning:

Cucumber & 1 glass tropicana 100% fruot juice.

Snack :

Tea & 1 Biscuit.

Lunch:

1/2 bowl rice , Dal and 1 omlette.

Snack :

Popcorn, 1 chicken patties ( junk food :( )

Dinner:

Chicken Biryani ( I am disappointed why I had this :( )

Workout:

30 mins aerobics

1 hour walk. :(

Tomorrow we have a religious festival here so i dont think tomorrow I can exercise :(
 
Okay, So, Yesterday I didn't do any exercise. Good thing, I didn't ate any calorie-rich food as well ( xcept for gol-gappa) :D

Anyways, this is what I did today..

Breakfast:

Kachodi + Indian Curry ( I hate this part, suffered from acidity for a long time).

Lunch:

2 Chicken Sandwich.

Snack:

2 Chicken Sandwich with a glass of fruit juice.

Dinner:

To be updated later.

Workout.

My first day at my gym. Previous two classes on GYM were theoretical. They taught us how to calculate some "important fitness stuff" and some blah blahs.

Anyways, had some warm up and then some serious workout!!!!

So, here it is

Gym (Aerobics): 30 mins
Gym (Machines) : 45 mins.
Walk : ~60 mins.

That's it till now. Do tell me if I am doing something wrong.
