7/28/09 Tuesday

B-NF vanilla greek yogurt w/ grape nuts mixed in
L- egg salad (made with LF mayo, mustard, salt pepper) on sandwich thin; kiwi
D-broiled chicken (Frank's red hot, little honey & smart balance); 1/2 cup brown rice; steamed broccoli
S-94% FF popcorn; (4) dark chocolate Hershey's kisses

7/29/09 Wednesday

B-vitatop; skim milk with Hershey's syrup
L-mini pizza (sanwich thin with 1 TBSP EVOO, garlic, LF mozzarella, & turkey peperonni); (2) dark chocolate Hershey's kisses
D-sweet & sour (pineapple juice & Heinz 57, green peppers & onion) turkey meatballs over brown rice
S- (2) glasses red wine

7/30/09 Thursday

B-mini bagel w/ whipped cream cheese; coffee w/ skim milk & splenda
L-mini pizza (sanwich thin with 1 TBSP EVOO, garlic, LF mozzarella, & turkey peperonni); (2) dark chocolate Hershey's kisses
S-NF pomegranate greek yogurt
D-[parents' house] fresh cheese ravioli, 1/2 meatball, broccolini w/ EVOO & balsamic vinegar
S-peanuts; (2) rum & 10 cal berry punch drinks ; BB birthday cake LF ice cream sandwich

well, weigh-in this morning was 165 lbs.= no loss this week. Fell off with the journaling but will definitely stick with it this week. Also, going to start the 30 day challenge on Wii Active and walk on the rest days for that. Me & the hubby took our "before" pics and will take a new pic each month.
 
well, next weigh-in along with monthly pic tomorrow morning-I have been sticking with the daily food journal for the last few weeks and been eating well and limiting alcohol to 2X times per week-couple glasses of red wine, but still no exercise, I really need to get on that. I will post my weight tomorrow morning.
 
Hey Amy, welcome to WLF.

Good luck to you and your hubby in your new life style. I hope you get just as addicted as most of us do.

Have fun with that Wii challange. Never been on one myself but I hear that it is pretty good.
 
weigh-in yesterday was 160lbs-so down 5 lbs since start. Took a 45 min walk on Monday...going to keep up with the journaling and try to get in more exercise this week.

Sounds like you have a good start, and have already seen some progress. Nothing breeds success like success.

I like the fact that you and your husband are doing this together. It is often easier to work as a team - you can support each other and keep each other on track.

I wish you continued success on your journey.
