Took a 2 mile walk with my husband this evening. My only complaint is the stupid temperature! I am longing for fall.

You know, spending most of my life in Hawaii, I've never really experienced "fall," but everyone on the east coast talks about it constantly. (Hawaii lacks seasons for those not in "the know.") I'm waiting to be amazed.... and well, to stop sweating like a damn pig. hahaa! Good job with the walk, girly.

Fall is my favorite season. However...it leads to winter, my least favorite season, so it is very bittersweet.

living in south carolina is insanity in the summertime, i swear. today my car's thermometer said it was 104 degrees F outside! days like that make me love my wonderful, air-conditioned gym :) proud of you for taking that walk... NOTHING could get me to stay outside for more than five minutes in the summer.

We walked to church and back. We were going anyway, and it's only a mile, so why not walk it? Save gas and get exercise, right?

But at least we got to sit in air conditioning for an hour in between miles!

I love all the pretty leaves falling and the semi-cool breezes!

The lack of sweating is totally a plus!

Its soo great your husband will go for those walks with you. My boyfriend won't walk around the cornor with me to get his cigarettes he makes me drive him... I'm just gonna keep asking him until he gives in!

Yeah, well, I know I'm biased....but my man is pretty great!

Eventually yours will give in...even if it's just to shut you up!

I like to look at different diaries, encourage people, etc...but I am quite intimidated by the diaries that are like 101 pages long. I feel like I may be intruding on already established friendships, etc. Anybody else scared to approach the well established forum members or is it just me?

Oh, and Sheryl, you posted on Elle's diary that I am awesome for not counting calories...I think you are awesome for having the dedication to do it!! I just watch portions.

Breakfast = 1 medium piece of fruit OR 1/2 cup fruit, plus a protein, either 1 or 2 eggs, a premixed Proti shake, high protein yogurt or oatmeal with protein powder.
Snack=protein supplement snack from dietician
Lunch= 4 oz. lean protein, 1 starch/bread (equal to 90 calories or less) and 1 cup raw veggies or salad OR 1/2 cup cooked veggies.
Snack=protein supplement from dietician
Dinner= same as lunch, minus the bread serving
Snack=protein supplement from dietician

I only eat two of the snacks a day, but I change up the time of day I eat them. I try to eat every 3-4 hours. I also have 1 serving of reduced fat dairy per day, usually breakfast, but occasionally at bedtime. I allow myself reasonable condiments when necessary (salsa, fat free mayo, light dressing, fat free sour cream, all fruit jelly). I also allow myself 2-3 SMALL desserts per week. I limit red meat to 2x per week. I don't eat fruit or starches after 3 pm. I drink 8-12 cups of water daily and drink nothing else unless it is a special occasion. I exercise 30-45 minutes 4 times per week. I try to avoid eating out, because I make poor choices.

That's all!

The weight is coming off SLOWLY...but, as my dietician pointed out, it is coming off faster than it went on.

I just want to say I am excited that I now add TWO points to a persons reputation when I rep them. Oh, yeah, I am moving up in the world!

I know what you are saying here. I don't want to pop in on the 121st page of someones diary and have them say "who the hell are you!"

You are doing great by the way, keep it up.

Exactly, Griff! I just stick with talking to newbs or people who joined around when I did. Or people I meet on other people's diaries!

You know I am starting to get a bit jealous of all these "ghetto booty girls" I run round with on here. I have the flattest butt known to man. Like, seriously, my panties can slip off if I am just standing still too long. I wish I could move some of the junk in my belly around to my trunk, for crying out loud!

Enjoy your booties, girls. Some of us weren't that lucky!
