Thanks Mal for stopping by my journal.

I lost another pound yesterday. I am at 204. I want so much to see the scale say 199. It would be such a milestone for me. I will get there.

I have no motivation to exercise. I don't know if it's the weather or what. It's been rainy and yucky here the last couple of days. I just feel blah. The good news is at least I have been good with my food.

Alright enough is enough!!! I am now going to do the treadmill. I don't know how long I will do it but I am going to do it. :eek:
 
Something is always better than nothing -have fun treading :)

and you will get to your goal - just keep going in the direction you are... milestone markers are nice to hit :)
 
Hi Mal. Thanks for the support. It is much appreciated.

Just hanging out. I have been good with my eating. But the exercising has been non existent. I did the treadmill tonight. I finally got off my butt and did it. I feel so much better now that I did it. That should shake things up. I hope!

My goal for tomorrow is to exercise. I also am looking at weight benches and weights. I guess Steve inspired me with all the posts in Mal's journal. That's a very good thing. Geez, sorry Mal. I forgot you don't like inspiration. Guess I need a new word.:jump:
 
i'll share whatever he puts together for me... unless of course youc an already do the first stuff he posted and don't need the remedial class :)

i'm not worthy of inspiration.. someone who's as negative and whiny as I am - cant possibly be an inspiration :D oh wait you said steve was -that's better :)
 
Hey thanks for sharing! I think I need the remedial course. It can only help. Right? Cause god knows I am not coordinated. I need all the help I can get.:eek2:
 
I finally made it. I am at 199. I still have a ways to go but man it feels great. The last pair of jeans and the smallest I own are now baggy. I have to go shopping. :jump: I can get by with the shirts for awhile yet. But I need new pants. *Bliss*
 
Last weekend I went in search of a weight bench and weights. My buddy Dan came with me to help me get it home. The trunk in my car will fit two suitcases. I knew the bench wouldn't fit nor would I be able to carry it up two flights of stairs. We finally find someone to help us. The clerk goes to get a cart to load the boxes on. Dan and I start looking at home gyms. We found one for half price. I just couldn't pass it up. It fit in his truck so no delivery charge. Dan put it together on Sunday afternoon. My daughter and I have both used it and we love it. :cool:
 
congrats on the 199 milestone - way to go.. .and double triple congrats on getting yourself a home gym and using it.. that's fantastic...

have fun with it :)
 
Thank you, Mal for all your support. We are loving the gym. We've been experimenting with it. Still working the bugs out of it. It's really nice to be able to work out at home whenever I want.

On Saturday my daughter and I went and got new tattoos. This was my third and her seventh. It was a just because thing. We had both been thinking about it and decided the other night since Saturday was walk in day at the place why not?

My tattoo is a tribute to my red boy Jester who we had for 17 years and lost 3 years ago. My daughter always called him her furry brother. He was a once in a lifetime kitty and we miss him every day. Iris is my favorite Goo Goo Dolls song. The words underneath are lyrics from Iris.

We are off to LA to play this morning. We will be back late Friday night. I know I may not be 100% while I am gone but I am going to try my best. I know at least I will get my exercise in because our hotel has a gym and an internet connection. :party:
 
Dusting my journal off.

My diet is going great. I suppose I should pop in here and post my food and exercise. I have a little notebook that I write everything down in to keep track.

I have been getting headaches almost every day since Thanksgiving. My blood pressure is up a bit. But not that much. I have a doctors appt on Tuesday. Hopefully he will find the problem.
