I love meat too. When I was doing low carb, I ate so much protein! Loved it. I also loved that I was losing weight really fast. I should do it again, perhaps in a few weeks.

Want to set some mini goals to pump each other up? How about for next week? Say at least 3 days of exercise at 45minutes each workout? I'm going to try to do more, but thought I'd make a mini challenge approachable. haha

Let me know!
 
See the procrastinator in me? haha I say we try to get in 3 days "this" week too. We still have half the week left. I don't even know what day it is half the time, luckily calendars were invented. haha
 
That sounds great to me. I am on my way out the door to the gym as I write this. Just thought I would jump back in before I left.

Wow! I feel pumped. I did 35 minutes yesterday. Adding 10 today sounds reachable.

I was talking to my daughter earlier and I thought it was Tuesday. So, I guess I need a calender too. Blonde moment! :)

Procrastinate is my middle name or it should be. Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow....or the next day?

Hi Jelly. Did 30 minutes on the stair elliptical until I thought my knee would give out. I gave it my all. So, if I don't work up to 45 minutes each day if I do more days I still have put in the time. How's that for math? ;)
 
Hey Amanda! You go girl!! Get that exercise. It always feels great when you know you got some in. I have a bad knee too. Sometimes I wear a brace on it when I exercise to keep it from blowing out. haha

My turn to step it up today! I'm going to walk 4 miles across the Golden Gate bridge and back. whoo hoo!

Hey Jelly! Sounds like a good plan. Enjoy the bridge. That's sounds a lot more exciting than the stair elliptical or the treadmill.

I weighed and I have lost 7 pounds. I weighed out of curiosity last week. I'm sure it's water weight. That's alright with me! Whoo Hoo!

I am off to the gym. YAY!
 
Went to the gym. I finally made 45 minutes. Whew.

I had veggies for breakfast. For lunch I made a chicken teriyaki stir fry. Then for dinner I made Cream of Cauliflower Soup that was low fat. Stayed within my calories and I am not hungry. I am amazed.
 
how does the rice diet work when doing exercise if you are only allowed 1 portion of meat a week (i think i read that right).

When you are trying to build muscle you need protien to feed the muscle otherwise without it surely you would loose muscle rather than fat so much.
 
Hi Amanda! Looks like you are doing great. Keep up the good work sista! 7lbs is awesome, water weight or not, the scale is movin! Yeah baby, yeah!!

Here I am again. Took a couple weeks off for my birthday.:eek: But, I am back. I didn't make it to the gym today. I will tomorrow though. I am ready for the long haul. I stayed within my calories and fat today. I wasn't hungry. Hopefully that will keep up. So, here I go again. ;)
 
Day three and it's going great. I can't believe I am not hungry. Been going to the gym. 45 minutes and going strong.

Hi Amanda! Thanks for the welcome. I see you're using your diary as a food journal as well. I think I'll do the same... including the calories, like your last post. Keep up the good work at the gym, too! Lord knows we all need encouragement to keep going in that sweaty abyss

I was hungry all day for some reason. But, I made it through without eating something I shouldn't have. YAY!!!!
 
I just weighed. I lost a pound! YAY!!! That's 3 pounds since Monday. That's enough to keep me motivated for the rest of the day and maybe even tomorrow.
