Mandy's Diary
So I'm going to start my little diary thing here.
1)How much weight do you want to lose?
Probably about 20-25 pounds.
2)What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight?
No time frame, but hopefully ASAP!!!
3)How do you want to accomplish your goal?
A combination of exercise and eating fewer calories. I just bought the tranfirmer workout series and am excited to see how it will work. I used it the other day, and my butt muscles are sore today! My butt muscles have never been sore. My hips have, but that's as far as it's gone. My calves and quads are sore as well so I can tell it's working already. As far as food goes, I'll start off with 1500 calories and then reduce intake 100 calories a month until I get to my goal weight.
4)Who or what can support you in reaching your goal?
All I really have are online support forums...I feel silly telling people I'm losing weight when there is no physical *need* to do it. Rather, it's that I always feel fat, and I always feel like I'm not good enough, and most of it has to do with weight because of what's happened to me in the past. In order for me to feel confident, I need to know that I'm thin.
5)How realistic is your goal?
Hmm...I think a size 5 is reachable. I don't know tho, my ass doesn't seem to want to shrink at all LOL. Whenever I lose weight, it comes off my waist and my hips and butt stay the same size (altho, my butt does firm up a lot!!!). But I've never weighed 125 or 130 pounds before, it is probably possible. If not, I'd at least like for my waist to be 26."
6)When will you start?
TOMORROW! I would start tonight but um...I need to prepare myself first by eating everything in my kitchen that has over 50 calories per quare inch. I KNOW I'm not the only person who feels they will never be able to eat a cookie again and so you eat every cookie in sight to make up for the next virtual LIFETIME when you won't be able to eat a cookie. K I'm getting hungry...
In this diary I'll write down everything I eat and the exercise I do, every day. Once a week (Thursday morning) I'll do a weigh-in and report how much I've lost and every two weeks I'll do a measure and report how many inches I've lost. Wish me luck!!!
