You really would find that adding some veggies or fruit to your diet would be beneficial for your weight loss as well as your skin, hair, immune system etc...I think it's great you can keep your cal low..but some of the food you are chosing are empty calories..which doesnt give your metabolism the best type of "fuel" to burn... just a recommendation...
 
I can't believe you have enough control to eat the stuff you do in small enough portions to keep the calories down..That is SO AWESOME!! I wish I could do that, but, I'd just end up eating everything.... :eek:

Grats on your weight loss, and yes, I agree more fresh veggies and fruits, it really DOES help you drop the weight. ;)
 
Alright alright girls! LOL! You'll all be glad to know that I'm eating an apple AS WE SPEAK! (So what if I happen to have some caramel dip with it hehehe)

I told myself when I started this thing..I wouldn't change what I eat, but just monitor the portions. The biggest reason is because I know that's the only way that I'll stick to it. I'd be lying if I didn't say that I think I need more fruits and veggies. It's just really hard for me to try and get this other stuff in when it's not something I particularly like. Heck, I was proud of myself for eating tomato soup! LOL! That and ketchup is as close as I get to a nasty tomato!

Thanks Michele! I definitely know the feeling of wanting to eat the entire box of cookies, cakes, etc. As far as limiting my portions of them...I don't really know what the big difference is in me. If I want something chocolate, etc. (on good days) I'll just get out one piece, or one of whatever I'm having. If I don't have the rest in front of me, I don't eat it. "Waste not, want not" has become a term that I don't take quite so literally.

ANYWAY I'm babbling! Thanks girls for the tips and well I don't really know what to say on them. I'll work on getting an apple a day, and then move from there. How does that sound? :)

I had a ball game tonight! I thought it was going to get cancelled with all the rain...but it didn't. YAY! We lost though, by a lot...but I played pretty well. :p
 
Weigh-In Day

Today was weigh in day! I'm down to 178.8! Can't believe it! YAYY! That's a total of 25.2 pounds! YIPPEE!

Anyway! This morning was nuts! I woke up at 5AM...crying. I was having a bad dream, and was crying in my dream...then woke up and cried some more. So then I couldn't go to sleep. I watched a special on Anne Frank, then I weighed in, watched some more TV, went and worked out :D , then ate an egg. Now here I am at work.

Boy was a strange morning it was!!! :eek:

GRATS on your weightloss. That is SO AMAZING!! You must be totally excited. You rock girl!

The bad dream thing sucks, I hate bad dreams, whenever I have them I always feel like crap for the rest of the day. :(
