Am I even accomplishing ANYTHING? Newb flailing ahead....

Alright. Here is the deal. I tend to over think things, as therefor when it comes to matters such as these, I try to keep my head low and just keep on going. Hopefully I can get some feedback into what I am doing wrong.

I do weights at home with dumbells three days a week, and jog on a treadmill or around town three as well, with one day off.

WEIGHTS - I'm scrawny with no real muscle (pretty sure im acutally underweight) and a decent amout of ...mmm....flub? I'm 23 5' 11 and 155 pounds. I use 20 pound weights, and as I explain this bear with me as I'm not firmiliar with all the lingo. Here goes:

1)weighted sqauts x12
2)pushups x 12
3)bent over row x 12
4)military press x 12
5)upright row x 12
6)tricep pushdown (i think thats what its called) x14 but with a lighter weight my joints seem to scream at 20 pounds
7)bicep curl x12

then on a bench I do:
1)declined benchpress x12
2)inclined fly x 12
3)some other thing keeping my arms locked above me and swinging the weights down behind my ears (haha oh man. no wonder I have my doubts) x12

I repeat all the steps one after another trying to take no breaks between. In total three sets of each 12. Yeah.

I take a protein shake with skim milk after every session.

RUNNING is pretty straight forward. I only jog for about 30 minutes. Oddly, though in a jog, my heart beat never dips below 82-83 percent for the entire jog.

FOOD: I eat alot of high fibre ceral. All my break is 12 grain. Alot of turkey either in homemade/frozen burger form (cook in the over as opposed to fried) alot of milk (fat free skim) and alot of yogurt (also fat free). I'm pretty sure I'm running at about 2500 calories a day. Maybe a little over. Oh, and I drink alot of coffee. And probably not enough water.

I'm not sure what my goal is. I defiently have a higher body fat percentage than I would like. I have a scale that is SUPPOSED to tell me my percentage but I think its retarded. As my weight fluctuates, i.e at 150 I'll be at 15.2, at 155, ill be at 16.7, I just weight myself at 157.2 I was 17.5. It confuses me. I've been doing this since the end of january, and I DO see changes as I've gained some muscle for sure. But thats about it. Am I on the right track? What needs to be done to lose the body fat? I feel so stupid when it comes to these matters. Can anyone help me? Is there anything else you need to know?

Thanks for your time. I'm sorry it was so poorly written.

sigh.

Basically...keep at it.

Some tips though:

If you're wanting to keep the full-body workouts, i.e. all muscles in one session, rather than cycling through your exercises, do all 3 sets for each muscle one after the other, then move on to the next muscle. That way you'll hit them harder.

However, i strongly recommend that you try breaking up your routine into a split. Look at some of the old threads on here about push/pull splits, that's what i use now instead of full-bodys and it works well. Or, alternatively you could just do one body part a day and lift every day, just make sure each muscle has 2 full days before it's worked again (as with a push/pull/rest split).
