Am i doin it right??? :)

I was just wondering if i could get some feedback on my weekly routine.

i use the universal machine and bench press (?) everynight except wednesdays and saturdays (and wednesday is the day i relax and take a long bath). i have never worked out in my life except when i ran cross country in high school (we did weight train.. but of course i didn't actually do it.) i also use 15 pound hand weights that i lift and i do some push ups. the universal machine has the pull down thing, the row puller thing, the leg lift thing, and the push thing. I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE CALLED I APOLOGIZE.

i take an amino acid pill before dinner and then sometimes ill take one after im done lifting the weights. usually i will lift the weights for about 40 mins. i also will drink the creatine shake with dinner most of the time.

i'd also like to know if those supplements are necessary. i am INTENSELY sketched out about putting certain things into my body.

i have been doing this for 3 weeks now.. onto the 4th. i have seen muscle growth in my arms i have never had before. i have been a skinny, tall boy all my life.. i started trying to eat more too and have gained a bit more weight. damn metabolism!

any tips and/or feedback would be GREATLY appreciated thank you! :)

Sorry, I just had to use that picture because of the thread title :D

Do you have access to any more free weights?
Machines like the one you're using are better than nothng but you really need to get your hands on a barbell and some decent weight if possible otherwise you won't be able to do things like squats and push press

As for suppliments, I doubt you need them at the level you're at, I don't take anything other than fish oil now and I don't think it hinders my gains

Oh! Forgot to mention.. have a back injury and a spinal fusion. my back is completely solid half way up. So I have some limitations for example it is physically impossible for me to do a sit up. so i can only use the machines that provide back support. a barbell is the stick with the two thingies on both sides right? well that would be bad for my back.. so can't do that! :)

thanks for the reply! and i also take fish oil and flax oil <3

I'd go talk to a doctor then; you're a bit of a special case and you wouldn't want to take advice from someone off hear and give yourself an injury

i know what i can/can't do. i don't "do" doctors. lol. i've been to enough of them to know for the most part they've been brainwashed into thinking pharmeceuticals cure everything. it grosses me out.
