If I was in meetings all morning I would fall asleep for sure - its a little problem I have...so embarassing :)

Congrats on the goal, don't analyze it, just accept the fact that you are improving.

Over analyzing things is what I do... You take that away form me and what do you have????

Meetings/conference calls suck. Flat out suck. 3 1/2 hours of crap and blow hole who love the sound of their own voices. I think I said 4 sentences in all of them.
May not need to go to Virginia for 3 months though...... Kind of a good/bad thing there. Good I do not need to go but bad if we miss out on the business. Not our fault though and the customer is pissed that we are not doing it...
eh.... still in a crappy mood so, oh well.

OK

figured I may as well post my workout here. This is ever changing but is what i have been doing for the last 2 weeks. Critique away- I may post this in a separate forum to get some visibility to it.

Day 1- usually Monday and Friday.

Flat Bench w/barbell. 175- 205 lbs 3x4-10. No spotter usually so I cannot go to any real failure.
Squats on Smith- sorry- sometimes they are in the rack but I feel more comfortable on the Smith. 200- 250 lbs 3x 6-15.
Barbell rows- 90-135 lbs 3x6-12
dips- assisted. 30 lb assist. 3x10-15
seated military press w/barbell 115-155 lbs 3x 8-12

30-45 minutes on an arc trainer at '6' interval

Day 2- usually Wednesday
flat bench w/dumbbells. 65-75 lbs. 3x8-12
incline with dumbbells. 60-70 lbs 3X8-12
one arm rows- 65-75 lbs 3x8-10
lat pull downs- 80-100 lbs 3x6-12
Arnold presses- 40-55 lbs 3x6-12
pull ups- wide and close grip. Assisted. 40 lb assist on close, 80 on wide. Quite frankly no specific number just 2-3 sets of whatever I can do.

30-45 minutes on arc trainer at '6' interval

3 days a week I run- either road or treamill for 40min to 1 hour. I prefer road to treadmill for a variety of reasons.

either Saturday or Sunday I rest completely- maybe golf but with a cart, golf is not exercise.:D

Have fun :D
if anyone reads this.

aw hell no.

this isn't shit and you know it.

And psssst. You are a girl.......
I know, I can spot some of the parts :)

Well I may just be a dummy but...

Those poundages looked impressive to me. Let me fawn over you, ok?

As for my girlishness, I guess I hide is less now that there is less of me :D

Yay!!!

I too own one of those lovely compression shirts, the view, however, is not as lovely in my neck of the woods...

Finally!
Someone who thinks the same. I have loved the sport for the last 15 years or so. I really do need to get in a sand league again.....

Absolutely. I play better court ball than sand ball, but either way, it's volleyball and I'm totally there.

When I lived in Minneapolis, I played in this sand league at this bar and everyone got drunk before the games Wow, was that a mess. HAHA. I of course drove 40 miles to play, so I wasn't doing any drinking when I played :nopity: It wasn't a big deal though because I wasn't a big drinker then anyway.

I now play 3-4 times per year in a court league all women and played coed one season but I'm not sure if it's still going on. I need to check into that. So far this season, we have lost 1 and won 4 games. Next game is tomorrow! =)

Fabulous!
I play every Tuesday in a coed league. We are damn good and are 10-0 right now. #1 team in it.

I am very familiar with Minnesota- want to move there eventually- what part were you from?
Good luck tomorrow!

I'm actually from the south but my hubby took a job there right out of the USMC (after he proposed and before we were married) and we lived in Edina just a few miles from downtown. I loved it there, but it was very expensive to live there (of course these days it's expensive to live anywhere).

Awesome on the coed league. I'm hoping our women's team wins the season this time. I'm going to miss the last game and tournaments as I'm going out of town. :(

Hey Brian - did you get through the day w/o shooting anyone?

Hope you are having a good night :)

No one got shot...of course then lack of means is really the only reason why.

Interesting day overall. The Virgina news is good.
Just winding down a bit- the hell with work tonight.

You working or relaxing Ali?- you cannot do both- not an option.

I am working of course, there is no rest in the life of a minion...errr...I mean associate.

Long night for me - dinner, cleaning and getting the little one to bed. Then put away laundry and settle down for some work before going to bed and starting over again tomorrow :)

Virginia news was good, sorry I meant to comment on that...sometimes a lack of means is the only reason some people are alive.

Some days/weeks i would give my right arm for a little one.
Some days/weeks I am happy that i do not have one. I need some down time every so often. Seriously i do not know how you do it sometimes- I am sure you don't either.
The starting over tomorrow sucks doesn't it?
Doesn't being a responsible adult blow sometimes? :D

I am finding that being a responsible adult blows much of the time.

The thing about the little one is that while she is awake, there is no such thing as down time. There was when she was an infant, when I could leave her somewhere and be reasonably sure she would be there when I got back.

Today, for example, she disappears upstairs without a word. I make the mistake of assuming that she is going up to get her blanket and I let her b/c honestly I am making dinner and would like to eat before the Second Coming.

After 10 minutes and no Abby I hear the sound of running water. I go up and she is 'washing' her hands which involved some soap and a lot of water, most of which she was wearing.

These things happen on a regular basis. Maybe I am a bad mom, most likely not. It is just a lot of work. I don't know how I do it, ever.

These things happen to everyone. It does not make you a bad mom.
Your little girl is fine and is even washing her hands by herself!
You taught her well.
And I seriously do not know how any parent does it. I would love to have the opportunity to see how I would do, but you can't give them back once you have one....

OMG :iagree: :iagree: :iagree: And I cannot stand the ones who ask the stupidest questions and they always have a string of 20...."So what did you say again?" "So where are we doing this now?" "Will I be involved?" Mind you all of the questions were answered a zillion times...Then they follow it up with like 5 minutes of self praise on each point.
:svengo:

>sorry for the little rant there but I had a meeting today for 4 hours and I can totally relate...A four hour meeting that should have taken 30 minutes :svengo:<:blush5:

Hello by the way Big guy :) lovely progress you are making and the cat in your avi is the cutest!! Take care :)
